Dom that room with the womens cologne you need to start looking up those bottles. I have honestly made thousands selling on Ebay selling partial bottles picked up at garage/Estate sales. Some of them older bottles sell for easily over $100 used. Not a bad idea to carry a small magnifying glass with you.

Doug, yes, I know. I’ve done a video discussing this. I did look at the bottles and the brands were terrible with barely anything in them. This is why I used to make longer videos to explain more. And yes, I have a small magnifying glass in my blue back of tricks.

These videos are so much fun and I learn a lot from you by watching them! I have a private appointment tomorrow for one of my favorite estate sale companies to be the first to pick through the stuff. I reached out to her a month ago, then she called me back when she actually had a live sale. All I heard her say was advertising material and German Goebel Hummels. The deceased was 95 and had quite a collection. My first private sale, so I am super excited and hope I can actually get some good stuff. That said, good pickups. Smart to pass on the man's gold shirt. The colorful skirts/dresses hopefully will do well. Sometimes its about the color and design more than the brand. They are probably vintage as well which should help add to their value. Anyway, very enjoyable video Dom!

@3:08 - FYI, most of those are slide charts (or slide calculators, in some cases), not slide "rules". They're for specific things, not general calculations. Though the circular one that actually says "rule" is just that.

@23:10 - I always wondered about whether or not to open sealed posters to photograph them. It seems like people would prefer them sealed, but you can't get pictures without opening them.

That red and purple hat is often wore by a group called the Red Hat ladies and it’s a group of older women. I would’ve definitely looked at the old perfumes because a lot of those will sell especially if they’re discontinued.

The men’s yellow print shirt I still would have picked up. The style is what would sell it, vintage 90’s for sure. Just include measurements, chest, length etc. Just keyword the subject of the print and colors. 😊💕 Thanks for the great videos, I’m headed to some estate sales today.

Wow! I will never go to any kind of sale without batteries again!!! As far as brightly colored clothes, I am drawn to them but brand it so important to. I know keywords can sell item many times but I think brand is like a crutch for me. I did see you pass up a vintage blanket/ throw. I can’t believe you walked out scoring all that for $39?!?!?! What dog said! I found some of my mom's mini perfumes. Secret of venus! Tiny bottle goes anywhere from 45 to 100. Big bottles up to a few hundred. Julie

My favorite type of video. You do know those are skirts not dresses, right? Unless I was not seeing them right. The prints and styles remind me of the summer of ‘68 on the campus in Boulder, Colorado..great memory.

Congrats nice finds! Obviously I can't say I'm a fan of this method unless they start to open it up to everyone. It's disappointing to see sales in the area but they aren't listed anywhere.

I think right now they just want to limit it to known long time customers to test out how the new plan works. Sort of like a soft opening. If it works out, look for public ads. Thanks for the joker print purchase.

The vintage hosiery- if there was any- can do very well. Although you likely are already aware. Plus, I KNOW you checked those stinky old perfumes=) This was fun- glad you're back at it man. Carry on, carry onnnnn~ woohoo, SO glad to be working again!

@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Hehehe- we were just teasin' ya mate- had to jump in when we saw folks trying to school you in the comments~ besides you having been at this work for awhile, we've seen videos you did on the subject=) We get a little goofy here in the high desert of N.M- where the A/C struggles to keep the inside air under 80 & we still pay $500 a month for the luxury of only half sweltering. Excellent, informative AND entertaining posts- every time. Appreciate the channel, very much~ Cheers!

Look up straw hats and check high solds. Look for tags, I don't remember the names but some sell pretty high.

As others mentioned fragrances can be very lucrative ESPECIALLY if they are retired. Since they are no longer made, they only option for devotees is to buy it on the secondary market.

So jealous! We are still locked down in NJ. Those comic prices were nuts! Did you let them know that they were way overpriced because of the condition and the less desirable titles? Some interesting women's clothing picks in there. The Dunkin Donuts scarf was nasty (not in a good way). I always pass when the label is missing from a clothing item. At least you are getting to go out and source again. Thanks for sharing.

Those remote controls were just generic Verizon ones that don’t resell well. They’re all identical. I have a video on selling remote controls. I agree that they are great items.

How do you sell cassettes or blank media? I have 3 huge boxes of it and can’t figure out how to maximize lots on eBay. I looked on Amazon and it says 3 cents for cassettes, it just doesn’t make sense. Please help or can you do a video on the topic, please?

Easy. Just search the Ebay comps in the advanced search section for the items that you have. Figure out the sold price is for similarly numbered lots. Check out the current competition on the item and then price it competitively with that. Don’t worry about Amazon. Just focus on the Ebay site.

Hi Dom, Great video. I am very jealous as my area has not opened up yet. You mentioned that the estate sale person called you about this sale because I assume they expect you to make a large purchase. Your bill was only $39.00 and you left the comic books. Do you think they were disaponted because you did not buy a lot and would they call you again? You made the right choice not taking the comics but do you believe they thought "Lets call the comic guy" but he did not buy any comics?

Hi George. No, not at all. The state sale dealer who called me was for a different sale coming up next week. These estate sale dealers sent me an email because I am on their email list. I have been working with them for years and always get bulk discount price is like this from them. They were just happy I was there to shop the sale. They did not have any expectation that I would purchase the comics though and I’ll be back again. Thanks for asking.

They look great because...I didn’t pile heavy things on top of them. Just some light clothes. The other stuff was to the side of the hats. Gotta trust me more than that! Lol.

@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Sorry, I was speaking based on experience with my husband of 50 years. No matter how many times I say "Remember, that's delicate" we have the occasional crushed or chipped item. I should know from your videos that you're too careful to forget those hats on the bottom!
