We can differentiate them by how they are spelt, amides have 2 i’s while esters have single i

Thank you for your video! Sir just one thing, for onset of action, it is not pKa , but concentration what matters, ester have faster onset than amids, beacuse they are less toxic , they can be given in higher concentrations, 3% chlorprocaineis the fastest, even it has highest pKa
