Growing up as a Power Rangers devotee entrenched in the online fandom, the universe of Super Sentai was an ever-present companion - the birthplace of Power Rangers' action. Each year brought fresh Sentai excitement, followed by anticipation for its adaptation into the upcoming Power Rangers season, usually lagging a year behind. But, things are not the same. Super Sentai teams have, and will be skipped for others. Previously, we talked about how Toqger's rail-bound narrative was left unexplored. Now, our voyage aligns with Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger, a saga of animal-inspired champions, weaving a tapestry that epitomizes the diverse trajectory of adaptation. Could this truly have been the Power Rangers Animal Force we wanted?

Hey Este You're forgetting that Saban no longer owns Power Rangers Hasbro does and they might do something with this show like they did with Beast Morphers, Dino Fury and the upcoming Cosmic Fury.

I would written this season as a video game season. The blocks give a Minecraft vibe (which is still popular among kids). The red rangers or whole team go into the game (kind of like digimon or Jumanji). The animal/jungle theme could work given Jumanji making movies again, and then if the team’s goal is to discover and protect new zord species, maybe they could take some inspiration from a Pokémon.

Perhaps a bug becomes present which is our main villain and it becomes sentient (yes the Venjix route) it wants to escape using the Morphers which I assume are the Morphers/Cubes, so it creates more bugs and sends them after the Rangers? Another possible idea as somebody brought up, the Rangers being developers on it would make the forms make sense, the extra modes could be coded in by the rangers.

Kyuuranger would have been great to adapt with so many characters that can be tied back to past seasons. Silver haired guy could be Zhane's son, Bull warrior could be related to Magna Defender, Wolf warrior could be of the same species as Doggie Cruger, Scorpion guy could be a descendant of Scorpius and Trakeena, Gold robot could be a reprogrammed Machine Empire or from Triforia, Chameleon girl could be from Animaria. But most important of all the Red ranger could have been a long lost prince of Eltar

this season probably got skipped because of their zords being cube shape and being a problem for hasbro because the zyuohger mechas are just bricks with no articulation. it had nothing to do with the fact that a animal themed power rangers wasn't going to be popular with kids like with the dinosaur themed power rangers seasons.

Having an anniversary PR season based on Zyuohger as a sequel to Wild Force sounds like a great idea, specially considering that Wild Force/Gaoranger was also an anniversary season. Though I'm guessing they'd wish to be careful with Wild Force things considering what Ricardo Medina did. And I know he's most likely free now after serving his time, but I don't think that any company would like to get involved that publicly with someone who pleaded guilty to unaliving someone else.

I haven't watched Zyuohger but it looks very interesting. I think we have gotten some really great animal themed power ranger seasons already like Wild Force and Jungle Fury. I like the helmets but the suits look cheap to me though.

The animal choices, colour combos and suits really give me wild force vibes (Blue shark, white tiger, then the swapped bird and lion, and the other typical male colour for an elephant) Would love for this to connect the animal spirits of jungle fury (my fave ranger series) with wild force's (my second fave ranger series) ancient warriors and animal zords.

RPM succeeded in part due to the lack of Sentai footage used, so I think the show would need something similar to not scare off new viewers. This series would need to expand the lore more than others to distract from how odd the aesthetic is for this season.

My adaption would be called, "Power Rangers Jungle Kingdom". The main villian would be named, "Condor" and the henchmen would be called, "Gixitars". Gixitars main goal is to drain earth of it's natural resources and re-create his home planet that was once destroyed. He hates humans because he thinks having emotions or feelings makes humans weak, so he wants a planet filled with animal monsters with little to no emotions and humans as slaves.

I've actually been planning for a while for the "season 3" of my current PR fanfic to have the main team develop the suits (recoloring white with pink for plot reasons) but then the morphers get stolen by an evil ranger team and have that actually be the antagonists of that story. I'm still writing part 1 with 4 parts planned all together.

It's probably the suits. The Toqger and Zyuohger body suits are super plain compared to the rest of super sentai teams, even Goranger has more going on. The patterns don't really form any clothing-like patterns like cashes, shirt collars, plackets, sleeves, etc. They are just train track for Toq and animal face for Zyuoh.

I felt that this season could have been adapted instead of Ninninger, I mean how long has it been since Lost Galaxy, Wild Force and Jungle Fury when we had an animal/jungle themed power ranger series? Oh and I felt Kiramager could have been adapted as well. Sure the costumes look basic, but due to how power rangers just loves crystals and aliens, Kiramager would have been the perfect candidate.

I may not adapt is as an Earth based team, that doesn't mean teams like this can not exist in PR. If Cosmic Fury are destroyed, we'd get a few Earth based teams while Zedd gathers his army of powerful villains for his Negative Ranger team, when they invade Earth a new power is needed, one capable of destroying Zedd and one capable of holding their own with a villain 1 vs 1. When this final battle happens, the Grid reboots when the army of evil is assembled against this new team and brings back all retired and destroyed teams, including Zyuohger. This would lead into an anthology series where we'd get access to Grid recordings for teams that would be rejected for the PR universe, set across 5-10 episodes for each team.

Este I have something to tell you. In the cosmic fury poster you can see by the green ranger on the side that the kyuranger megazord is in the picture. So maybe kyuranger will have a season after cosmic fury.

I would've written this as an ancient power rangers series like the beginning of dino fury but also similar to the way zyuohger is but there are five teens and they are selected by each of the animal kingdoms( eagle, shark, Lion, elephant, and tiger ) they then start intense training like in jungle fury and get Morphers after the blood game is introduced to planet earth

I love Zyuogher so much. It was the second sentai I watched and I keep thinking about it every day. The only real negative thing I have to say about it is that dreaded love con artist episode ... it wasn't funny, didn't do anything for the plot, no character development, it only did one thing ... make Sela sad. And Sela is my favourite female sentai ranger. I hate that episode so much.

What annoys me is the zyuohger suits are top tier and the kyuranger ones are D tier. Adapting the kyuranger series but using slightly modified versions of the zyuohger suits would have been great.

Having a Zyuohger Adaptation by doing crossover with Super Megaforce will not happen because the actors who played the Super Megaforce rangers are getting too older to return. Or if Zyuohger & Gokaiger happened in the US as a Power Rangers crossover? Maybe the Gokaigers in Power Rangers should be recasted kinda similar to the Space Sheriff Gavan got adapted into the Beast Morphers crossover instead of his own show despite not being adapted that would have work for the Gokaigers for getting recasted in Power Rangers.

Personally, I could see Vearth (the animal earth, V for variant) as a mirror'd dimension of earth, created by the Morphin Grid's connection to Beasts. Death Galleon are a Huntsman group that want to hunt "Dangerous Game" being mankind and the Vearthians (the Zyumans). and that once they gain access to Vearth's Core so they have access to the Morphin Grid, they can hunt all over the multiverse. They are simply there for the sport of hunting.

It's kinda wild how successful Zyuohger/Animal Force are in Korea, they're still making new cube zord (mostly recolor tho) til this day.

Honestly I think the cube angle could have worked. But that would mean stuff like Saban and Hasbro making deals with Lego Megablox and Minecraft which wasn’t happening

Would’ve been cool to use the suits for Beast Morphers season 2 like Steel and the Go-Buster-based powers are destroyed by Evox, but the zords could be operable again so we can use Li-oh footage). In the meantime, Doctor K offers the 5 Cube zords to Devon/Eagle, Zoey/Shark, Nate/Lion, Javi/Elephant, Roxy/Tiger-with Blaze missing after Dark Buster is destroyed and later becomes Black and basically the Zyuoh footage is exhausted before Whale debuts and they combine the Powered Custom/Super Beast Mode into Zyuohger with Devon getting the Whale Cannon mostly for Li-oh Ultrazord footage over the Cheetah blaster except for the finale where the team fires the cannon together

Hasn't Este been reading about the next season of Power Rangers? Kyuranger is the next and final adaptation, before the reboot. And David Yost is returning to be a ranger in the final season.

I will be fair....Go-Busters was skipped and It only took 7 years until they go back to Adapt Go-Buster as Beast Morphers.

If Hasbro revisits these guys in the future, which they should, I suggest they should refer this team as Power Rangers Wild Instincts, because of the whole instinct thing in Zyuohger, and their Morphing Call should be “Instinct, Awaken!”, just like in that show

Considering power rangers is going all over the place, this very well could be adapted next. Cause beside the train sentai the other ones they could adapt is theifs vs police rangers or the cgi sentai show(which is definitely not happening)

I watched JetMan when I was a kid… I thought that was a cool Super Sentai? I wished they made it as a Power Rangers show.. and their Mecha robot (Jet Icarus) was so cool, I wanted a toy of that!

Hey I rarely comment things on KZfaq but I’d like to say this video has made me want to go watch Zyuohger and Kyuranger and I’m not even that big on sentai stuff I normally just watch the Power ranger stuff Anyway I’m gonna go see if I can find the Zyuohger zords and some of the if the figures and zords for Kyuranger aswell
