Esthero is SO underrated.

This is my favorite song from I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. I remember having to go to the store to look at the soundtrack and not seeing this song on it. I had no idea what the song was. This was before lyric websites and even Amazon. It took me years to find out the name of the song LOL. 20 years later, here I am. Just watched the movie again and it's still awesome. and I STILL LOVEEEE THIS SONG!!!

I am ashamed to admit this, but back when MTV2 was around and actually still played videos non stop, this video would come on every time I stumbled upon watching. I would always start bitching that this was playing. One day I gave up and decided to listen to it. I was hooked. I couldn't get enough of her. Sadly this was pre-KZfaq and pre-Facebook. It was hard to get any material. I love her stuff, wish she we could get another "Breath from another" cd.

Hearing this song takes me back to the 90s a better decade than today.

the good times staying late sunday nights mtv midnight 120 Minutes. Esthero came out during the tail end of the alternative, indie, good music being promoted train... especially on MTV. Had no idea who Esthero was. It was during the late first hour they played "that girl," and i immediately fell in love with it. related to the lyrics... "i just don't belong here... hey look at that girl." sigh, brings a tear to my soul. good times.

This was the song that made me fall madly deeply in love with her! The year was 1998, I was going into the 8th grade, the album "Breath from Another" in which this song is from was n still is the living shit, every song was a timeless masterpiece. She's the top 5 best outta Toronto, Canada next Drake n the Weeknd, and PARTYNEXTDOOR I don't even know y the never worked with her, a group of those 4 would have changed the landscape of music again guaranteed. This video deserves an updating. Great song, great looking video, but it needs a 1080 or 4K up-scaling. Such a cool late-90's treasure to be remembered all grainy and fuzzy with today's displays.

Been a fan since 1998..saw her live in 2005 Blueberry Hill in St. Louis. One of the best times I've ever had and we talked for what seemed like 20 minutes after the show. Soak her up like a sponge cause she's so talented and we were born in the same year!!!

I heard part of this song in a mix show like 19 years ago and never forgot it. I finally found it. This song is do dope! She reminds me of a chick that came out in '97 Adriana Evans, same vibe. Beats and melody. Dopeness!

Since the advent of the internet where we can choose what music we like and find whatever you want I found nearly civilised because it was on a computer game over 20 years ago. I would have never discovered this fantastic Canadian artist we would have never played on the radio in the UK as we are force fed. I trust my ears will tell me what is good and what is bad Hunt for your music and you will find the fruit from the Vine!
