When i first started trt on test enanthate, i had alot of estrogen conversion to the point where i felt just as crap as when my testosterone was low, my doctor was making me take aromatise inhibitors, looking on you tube i found an article talking about micro dosing using test propionate. So i tried it and have never looked back, sometimes these clinic docters have no idea, always pays to do your own research. Great article doc!!

At 5:55 when discussing the labs, it’s Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry x 2 hence LC-MS/MS. If you are trying to quantify a known compound I hardly see the reason for using ‘MS/MS. This technique is typically used for chemical structure elucidation (determining an unknown chemical entity), not for quantifying a known chemical. With LC-MS there is already a 2-dimensional separation, why LC-MS/MS? Honestly no lab will run MS/MS routinely that’s typically PHD level analysis.

My TRT doc put me on an extra .2mg of anastrozole per week after my estradiol tested at 37.6 pg/mL and I did not feel right after a few weeks so I stopped. Writing this, it just dawned on me that the addition was likely causing me serious joint pain because it disappeared. Sometimes I wonder what I would feel like if there wasn't .5mg compounded with my test.

If you’re going to mention micro dosing you need to give an example on how to do it doc. 16 mgs a day injected with an insulin syringe in the shoulder or quad is optimal. Gets me around 900 total testosterone and 24 free testosterone. Been doing it this way for about 6 months. Never felt better and I’ve been on trt for 15 years. I also do a week of hcg every 6 weeks. I don’t think staying on hcg all the time is a good idea. I tried it and felt great for a week or so, but then started to feel like crap. Not sure if it was estrogen creeping up, but it felt like it.

Thats 112mg a week, hardly a microdose. If your a genetically gifted freak, you might produce 49mg a week. Your almost 2x the Test, and likely putting more than 2x to use ( in comparison to a natural 1 out of 5000 freak)

Estrogen is a CONSTANT pain in the ass for me as someone who is on TRT but also occasionally cycles higher amounts of testosterone in the 500-1000mg/week range. I have never been able to maintain a 500-1000mg/week testosterone dosing schedule for more than 4-6 days without my libido crashing/vanishing. It spikes within the first 2-3 days, then it crashes. This is happening with a DAILY dose schedule of test (daily injections, so no testosterone spikes). This happens whether I take NO arimidex, and it still happens when I take varying amounts of arimidex. I've tried 0.5mg arimidex EOD, I've tried 0.25mg arimidex EOD, I've tried 1mg arimidex EOD, and I've tried 0.25mg arimidex E3D, basically every possible kind of arimidex dosing you could imagine I've tried. Very frustrating, because the gains to me are not worth having zero sex drive, which always returns once I lower the testosterone doseage back down TRT therapeutic levels

Honestly I don’t think frequent micro doses have any effect on estrogen, but more to do with ratios. More consistent T levels means your T to E ratio remains stable, you still need to find the sweet spot. When less frequent injections don’t work for men I think it’s because their ratios get so skewed at times so they feel the “high E2”

Could anybody else read anything on that board, it coulda been cuneiform script, guess I'll never know.😂 Arimidex or Tamoxifen, but beware if you've any form of multiple sclerosis, and are on anything other than Copaxone, avoid Arimidex. Offset bone density loss with vitamin D and Calcium, even TRT will increase trabecular bone density. And if your using Tamoxifen, take a low dose of Asprin, and eat plenty of Berry style fruits, stretch the legs often and add some more light leg exercise to your routine.

Doc is not responding to comments so anyone else feel free to reply to this. It is not clear if you are saying that these problems are being caused by the estrogen being crashed or just taking an AI in general even if it balances your estrogen correctly.

Thank you so much for your candid and honest approach to educating men about TRT and options that should or could be considered. You are a pioneer for every man who becomes hypogonatic. One question about plastics we all encounter daily. It's been suspected that plastics used for food containers introduce estrogens into our diets causing young girls to develop earlier (10-12) than in the past. Do you suspect that the same exposure is causing men to develop hypogonadism in addition to developing prostate cancer?

I feel better my levels aren’t up and down and I don’t use any AIs or serms anymore they actually made me feel worse in my opinion and crashed my sex drive like letro, tamoxifen, Clomid etc.. Then again I self medicate lol but Dr O’Connor would be the one Doc I would see for this we don’t have many docs in New England that are knowledgeable about this or that would not judge for that fact!!

I'm coming out of 30yrs of HIGH Stress (literally Life & Death). I'm about to be 46. I've been weightlifting and training since I was 11. I have NEVER used ANYthing of Enhancements! Yet I CAN pull a Tractor Trailer! Yet ALL of the Symptoms described of Low T. I've noticed over the past year! So would an Aromatase Inhibitor, Micro Dosed, for just A few Weeks be a Safer, more Therapeutic Self help place to Start? Without ANY TRT? I should add... I have NEVER been a Drinker or Smoker! I just DON'T even Like Alcohol! And Smoking of ANY Kind triggers my Asthma!

Taking an aromatase inhibitor without testosterone is a bad idea, and it's going to make you feel worse. You should get your blood taken and most likely should get on test. Test is the safest and most proven, so if that's what you care about then that's probably your best choice.

I like that my estrogen is high. I never take aromatize inhibitors. Estrogen allows me to feel feelings and my sex drive is up. Estrogen gets a bad rep in my opinion

BEFORE YOU DO SURGERY: I had bad gyno that was almost a year old from stupidly taking large quantities of a prohormone without an AI (I was misled by advertising to believe the PH had an AI built in, it wasn't that I didn't know what an AI was or why I needed it). Left was worse than my right with a hardened lump, right was just a very puffy triangular nipple. Both had fat deposits around the nipple, even with me getting myself to a very low bodyweight 11% bf to try to combat it. I had a dr prescribe me arimidex which did nothing but tank my estrogen because I was taking it about 1mg every 3-4 days, which is a lot to be taking when not on a steroid cycle. Then we moved on to Tamoxifen. He suggested 10mg a day, I started at 40mg a day because that's what I'd seen the testimonials of success online, and beach season is coming up and I was desperate. It took almost a month straight of 40mg tamoxifen (nolvadex) per day, but then at about 3 weeks in, all of a sudden the gyno on both sides was half gone. Within the next week, half again. That's about as far as it went, 3/4 of the way gone on both sides, which seems to be as far as I can reverse it thus far. I can still try letrizole, I believe the name is (another AI). Took a month straight of 40mg tamoxifen, but it almost completely reversed the gyno. Think about trying this before spending $1000's of dollars on surgery that your insurance plan won't cover because it is considered cosmetic

I imagine micro dosing is just doing daily sub-cutaneous injections, which is the ideal way to administer testosterone regardless of whether you are on TRT or not. There is ZERO difference between whether it's injected into muscle or fat, it is still absorbed completely by the body and still at nearly the exact same rate. Daily subQ injections means there are no spikes and valleys of testosterone in your blood. So if you were prescribed 150mg/week test, you would divide your dose by 7 and do about 22mg/day test subQ injections

@@christopherpooler5398 Sure. But I encourage you to do your own research. Look up online the testimonials of people who used to inject IM 1-3x/week and that switched to SubQ every day or EOD. Everyone will say that there is no difference in the absorption rate or how much is absorbed between IM or subQ injections. In fact, my TRT clinic has made subQ the new standard. I never minded IM shots (hated needles when I started TRT but got used to them and actually sort of liked the pain of IM shots), but once I switched to daily SubQ shots, I never looked back

Franklin Rodriguez I use a long ester. Just take the normal weekly dose and divide it up by how many times you intend to dose per week, I prefer to do eod doseages for ideal blood levels

Over all, even if you discount any potential for stimulating growth of preclinical cancers, TRT sounds like the risks increase over long term and AI treatment of any type only postpones complication. If you use AI for a while and then wean off it, what stops the continued TRT from increasing Estrogen at that time?

I'm very sensitive to arimidex...even .25 mg will bring my levels down. But if I just don't take the arimidex at all and my estrogen gets high, I will have severe migraines. .25 mg twice a week will usually be enough to keep my e in a good place.

This was a great video. I had a consultation where they wanted to put me on test cyp, clomid and anastrazole right off the bat. As someone averse to prescriptions, this scared me away and I chose to do a lot of research before deciding what I want to do. Their argument is that using test cyp alone would cause the body’s natural production of test to shut down so they proactively use the clomid to keep that going. Not sure what to do or what’s right but some of those side effects sound nasty enough to stay away until necessary. 32.5 years old total test 560, free test 10.9. FSH also low at 1.3 but I had no trouble getting my wife pregnant 2 years ago

Did you start TRY yet? I refused Clomid and asked about enclomiphene which my prescriber said he could check with their compounding pharmacy to see if that’s something they can get since it is technically not being manufactured by any major drug company. He also offered Gonadorelin which after reading more about I decided to go with. I’m starting TRT next week.

A lot of your videos seemed directed to the bodybuilding community, who are arguably the biggest users of steroids today. What about other athletes? Cyclist, MMA fighters, football players, athletes who do a lot of cardio as well as strength training; how do steroids affect them? Does their heart take less damage? Or is the damage irrelevant to the sport it’s being used for? Maybe a question for a Q&A video?

David Devine and as an example, Lance Armstrong famously used EPO to help his cycling. I doubt a bodybuilder would benefit from EPO or they would’ve used it by now

Lower your dose to a level your body recognizes and you wont need an AI people. Everyone has a level that they would produce under optimal conditions and 1500ng dl is not it mkay.

I've done 1100 T levels for couple of yours and was taking Al. After that I lower my dose to 800+ and never took Al again. Now, I always knew that would happen but I wanted those levels as I've felt like a God. With levels of 800 I still feel very good, but not God level.

Use only 10mg per day and dont need any AI. When i used ai i was bloated, dehydrated, with no libido, with anxiety, and my knees were hurting a lot. I have 14kg extra weight but with such a "low" testosterone dosage i can take trt with no ai. And im confident, with motivation etc. Also my heart sometimes hurts, but i quite ai recently so i hope it'll be better

I’ve always had very high estrodial levels on TRT because I mostly don’t take my prescribed AI. I have zero issues even though my labs say my estrodial is high normal. Boners all day. Massive orgasms. No gyno. No acne. All other labs are stellar. Low LDL. High HDL. PSA optimal. Everyone is different. Don’t treat numbers. Treat symptoms (or lack of symptoms) and how a man feels.

Hey Doc I started my first test only cycle 250mg per week. After 5 weeks I did a blood test and my test lvl was above 15 ng/mL (that number could be above 30 but their method of testing does not go further for reliability of test). But more importantly my E2 levels are 146 pg/mL and perfect range would be between 20-30. How concerning is that? Should I start with AI or SERM until the on fo the cycle to reduce that number or should I get of the cycle? What do you advise?

You only need an Al if you feel the e2 symptoms. Some people need Al at e2 of level 60, some can be okay with it even with level of 100.

Doesn't look like he answered you, so I'm on sustanon 250. 500 a week split into 2 times a week and I started useing Dim and those are 200 ml and I still felt like shit so I take 400 and that seems to work, they're not a blocker but they regulate it 👍👍👍👍

Might work but lowering your dose to a level your body can use would be the wisest decision. Most of us start on way to high a dose. If you're on more than 125mg its most likely to much. Focus on Test levels and how you feel vs the dose. Some guys respond very well to 100mg putting them in 700-900ng dl range while another might need 140mg to achive the same levels but the vast majority do well on 100-125mg per week. Don't get me wrong 200mg per week is exciting, you can stare at weights and get bigger but at what cost?

@@microbeast83 are you talking about testosterone ? Cause I'm on the cream and I take way more than that. 50 mg a day sucks. I'm only at about 450 range. I was able to sneak a bigger dose at 80 mg a day and that's really nice. Just hope my prostate doesn't grow again. LoL 😂 so far so good. But yes the muscles are growing but only because I'm working the heck out of them.

@@robertesposito8288 Yep. It doesn't matter what source you get your Test from, cream, gel. pellets, injection etc. Our body recognizes it all the same. To high a dose leads to E2 conversion. If your Test levels are 450ng dl id imagine you are not converting to much Test to E2. The bottom line is all the recent info points to harm in regards to use of an AI. Our body is amazing and it knows how to regulate its self. The issues is when we try and force a Test level beyond what our body wants or needs we run into issues. So definitely stay of any AI and keep your levels in the normal range and you will be way better off in the long term.

I'm gaining muscle so that might be why but I thought testosterone caused weight loss and I'm stuck at 340 lbs. I'm working out 3 days a week.

@@robertesposito8288 It dose help weight loss for sure but there"s so many variables that must be addressed like diet, metabolism, age, genetics, diabetes and so on. The best thing you can do is make sure your levels are within range and try and get off the blocker aka AI. How high was your E2 before you started the blocker? Did you have any symptoms or did they just start you on it? Also are you testing your E2 with the Ultra Sensitive E2 test?
