The best thing about Kate Winslet is that she's real! She hasn't let fame or fortune corrupt her or ruin her life, or turn her into a primemaddona! She's a brilliant and beautiful actress, but the best thing about Kate Winslet is that she's still a caring, down to Earth, real person!!!

Not from what I’ve seen. On IMDb she talks about how she loves exposing herself on screen yet she cried the victim of micro aggressions when a cameraman made a racy joke about her in a bathtub scene in Heavenly Creatures. Then she talks about how much she regretted playing in movies made by Allen and Polanski just to show her support of MeToo to say “women I feel your pain.” She accepted the roles the men offered because it was good for her career even though she knew they were alleged predators then fast forward fifteen years later or so she throws them under the bus to identify with a new movement because once again it’s good for her career. I don’t make this stuff up. Ignore Hollywierd.

I can't understand why Kate and Melanie weren't nominees to the Oscars 1994 for Heavenly Creatures. Instead, they were nominees other actresses whose acting weren't as good as Kate's and Melanie's.
