This is the size I'd expect from Steam Deck Mini. Maybe a notch larger. Steam Deck Mini would be aiming at very specific group of customers. People who want smaller device that can perform as well as standard Steam Deck but be smaller.

Normally i'm not interested of a retro handheld gaming consoles, but only because it have the PlayStation on it i'm in, defienitily if it can run PS2 games and gotta say E6PLUS looks nice, not too big or too small just a perfect for my hands, I like how it looks like a baby Steam Deck and LOVE those Sky full of stars and defienitily purple green designs because purple and green are my favourite colors, thank you for sharing that new amazing looking Retro Handheld Eta Prime! 💜💚

for a good PS2 handheld you have to look at the Ayn Odin 2 or Odin 2 Mini, for about 300-400$

I'm 50 50 on that . I use my s24u and gamesir g8 controller to emulate BUT since we rely on our phones so much it is times when I wish I wasn't locking down my phone playing games , it's nice to have dedicated device sometimes to free your phone up

Rn, not happening but 2025-26 maybe. Developers need to focus on bringing proper Linux ports cause steam deck 2 seems promising but won't be small and now there's also big companies bringing their own handhelds. Snapdragon chips also seem promising if provided enough support.

I'm tired of this chipset, use the HIGH END ROCKCHIP so you can still get all the linux distro support. Why haven't retro handhelds come out with the, what is it? 3588 chip set? You know the one that kind of goes toe to toe with the Dimensity 12000 chip and is like on par with an Snapdragon 865.

@@betag24cn Works too but most people are used to Android and it's settings. For some it's easier to use Android handhelds than Linux ones unless one has used the likes of onion os or batocera.
