Tencent and Timi Studios (dev of AOV and HOK) are having big problems with this collaboration. You can see that HOK's SM skin looks like an upgraded version of AOV, and it is. AOV's SM skin was released and HOK players didn't like it, so Timi Studios had to make it more beautiful to suit HOK players' tastes. However, Toei Animation (the copyright holder of SM Cosmos the Movie) said that the AOV version was "good enough" and threatened to sue Tencent if it did not do the same as AOV. This is the first time that a HOK's Honor skin has no preview video, no CGI, no hiring of KOLs to promote, no hiring of Cosplayers... and the contract is expected to expire in December this year if Toei and Tencent do not negotiate peacefully with each other 😅

For what i’ve researched, hok’s skin was made after the sailor moon movie comes out, and the aov’s skin took the og yellow effect from the serie, so it’s an fortunate for hok’s sailor moon with the effect based from the movie which is prettier for me

They are different tiers AoV skins are SS and S+ (lower tier) HoK skins are SSS (one of the highest tier) They are differently priced too (HoK fairly more expensive )

Oh my god HoK’s ult has included the silhouette of Sailor Jupiter Mercury Mars and Venus!!! That’s sooo sweettt and wholesome!!! The details!!!! It’s true that SailorMoon wouldn’t make it without her fellow soldiers!!! That’s so sweet if Hok for noticing and putting the details!! It made a fan like me sooo happy!!!!

They erase Timi J6 (original aov developer) and merge it with Timi L1 (hok develeper) that's why aov got so many transfer skins recently and also since they want hok more global they abandon aov in level infinite server and only in garena servers aov still alive

HoK is getting to the global market now, it's not like they gonna shutdown after 1-2 years of the server operation (global). Even if they didn't try to get to the global market, they still can catch players outside the games to try. Most Chinese gamers don't really like content that HoK took from AoV.
