Finally, I can travel abroad without being embarrassed about being an American. Just took the Maple Leaf off my backpack. Thanks Canada for "adopting" me on my foreign trips for the last 8 years :)

Turkey is an important ally for the United States and President Obama did the right thing by reaching out to the Turks and the Muslim world. After eight years of constant struggle and a presidency that ignored one of the most important parts of the world with the exception of using war and threats, President Obama is doing the right thing by trying to restore bridges. I support President Obama and his attempts to create a new peace.

Strongly recommend everyone whether you pro or con Obama to watch You Tube's " The Obama Deception" a 12 part series. Then make your comments and prepare .

Thankfully there are plenty of reasonable people, liberals and conservatives, who are more than willing to defend themselves, their country, and their world. I guess people like you can use KZfaq because otherwise no one would care what you said.

I don't usually waste my time responding to such bitter comments as this. However, you are right. There are people here who want peace with the Muslim world, Europe, and everyone else that Bush and the Republicans have offended. The United States cannot, and will not, stand on its own. The United States needs the world and the world needs the United States. Don't worry. In a sad way there are many people like you who share your outdated views.
