Dude Ikaris doesn't have a Scottish accent , Scottish people has ikaris accent ... English didn't exist back then , no one spoke with a Scottish accent the whole theme of this movie is that eternals influenced mankind ,,,, Hence, ikaris spawned Scottish accent , ajak spawned mexican accent etc..

"why Karun didn't turn his back on Kingo?"...how about 50 years of servitude and the fact that it was the end of the world, what would he have done? turn his back - then maybe try to catch a boat to main land - hitchhike to a city - take a uber/train to the airport - take a 18h flight back to India....ofcourse he's gonna stick to him at the end because that's all he did his whole life! Jaby you should know better than anyone about how hard is to let go.

One reason of eternals having different looks and accents, because Celestials want them to be more accepted among human race. The deviants look like monsters so how could they even build trust with humans. So, Arishem must have considered these factors and forethought and created eternals in such a way. Also, there could be another planet like earth with people looking like humans, and eternals did Arishem’s bidding and a new celestial born out of it. The experiment with that planet was a success, so he could have implemented the same here. Ah! So many things to think!

Jaby..if you care about why the Ethernals have Irish accents, you should probably care about why aliens speak English, AT ALL!!! ...I understand that we need to understand what they're saying, but we shouldn't just pick one issue and disregard every other inconsistency. Alien superheroes should need to learn human languages.. always, just saying.

the thing about Karun is you need to consider his backstory. Yes, he's a human, but he have been following Kingo his whole life, which means he trusts him and know how he is and he's loyal. Chloe said something in an interview about if humans had the power to choose let the celestial live, would they? and Karun might understood the moral conflict there and saw Kingo's side. Besides, every human being is diiferent, we need to consider that people will react to some things and think different then us sometimes.

Harish patel the Indian actor has done such a great job playing karun in etarnals and a brilliant comic relief to the film is ❤️ hatts off to the casting directors & the actor....... Everyone loved his work..........still bummed that a big time actual bollywood actor could have played kingo and make huge huge market business hype here in India too.....

Jaby you forget that the eternals have had several lifespans on different planets that have been destroyed by celestials. Surely on these other planets lifeforms would have evolved with similar accents and languages to earth. Cersi in greek mythology was a witch that lured men to her island and transformed them into pigs. She was an obstacle odysseus faced. In the eternals movie cersi says she cannot transmute organic beings.

Jaby is unnecessarily harsh lmao it really isn't that bad you just put way too many expectations on it. Take it for what it is not what you wanted it to be. I really liked it and genuinely agree it was too ambitious and could have been better off being a series or shown lesser storylines colliding but a lot of the hate (yes, its way past criticism at this point, its turned into hate by many white boys now) is just way over the top lmao. It was a decent movie and will only get better with the sequels, which was also kinda obvious, that it would be a base setup for the sequels.

Sometimes I wish original Vision was still around. Together with the Eternals, I think they could have found a way to exponentially increase Vision's power to phase through things, so he could have made the Earth or Tiamut intangible, so a Celestail is still "born", but the Earth doesnt go all 'splodey in the process.

The scars seen on the celestial Arishem the Judge might be from the war of the celestials where they fought against their creator the First Firmament and the Aspirants, or could be against Knull who is acc. to Marvel Lore known to decapitate celestials and might have been the one who killed the celestial who's decapitated head became Knowhere.

I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE, but it's so sad to see people trying to tear this movie apart so that they can justify low rotten tomatoes and their biased assumptions . A lot of the same issues this movie had were already present in Avengers Endgame and movies before it...so why the nitpicking just now? It only makes me think they're against everything this movie accomplished. Miserable attitudes, I must add.

just one thing people tend to overlook sometimes....although the term ''synthetic'' is commonly used to describe non-organic materials, it actually and mostly means it wasn't created by natural occurring processes. And that' all. All machines are synthetic, but not all synthetic things are machines. The Etermanls can be genetically organic, but synthetically created out highly advanced technology.

Jaby -- bear in mind man, these Eternal beings, well, they are pretty much advanced-tech Androids: Perhaps the Celestrals -- The Gods programmed them to have a variety of accents and physical looks to reflect all of what the human race would or could look like. Also, I am sure they wanted them, (The Eternals), to blend in as much as possible with ancient to modern-day society. These ancient civilizations already thought of them as Gods / Angels of the heavens or of the stars as it were -- you know? Anyway, that is just my two cents. Haha!!! XD

Excuse me, but wtf can Karun do? He’s just a human, he might dislike Kingo’s decision to not fight, but I do think he respects Kingo’s choice. Kingo agreed with Ikaris, but he would not fight his family, so he took himself out of the equation because he would be fighting against the others. Karun told him to fight for his family, so perhaps Karun will understand that Kingo COULD NOT fight his family.

Burning of Alexandria was like burning of Nalanda University, the scripts, books, etc took 3 months to burn, Nalanda also had so much knowledge, technology, etc but it was destroyed by Bakthiyar Khilji

Small detail, in Hiroshima, in the wide Arial shot, you can actually see a dome of a building with just the frame left. It was actually right above that exact dome that the bomb was detonated. It was left like that, unrepaired as a memorial to this day

Sersi could only change non sentiment objects until she took I believe the prime eternals. CPU. Which allowed Sersi to change a Deviant genetic structure and why later she was able to change a rock in to birds.

She hadn't became the Prime Eternal yet because they hadn't went to see Ajak yet when she turned the Deviant into a tree. I think it has something to do with her evolving, remember Areshiem said that Eternals could not Evolve but Sersi clearly did when she turned the Deviant.

Serci is the prime Eternal, this is why her powers are enhanced, and can change sentient life. Hence why should could change a boulder into butterflies in the final fight and why later change a celestial into complete marble.

Initially I thought that perhaps the Eternals, when they split up could have been the founders of various ancient pantheons, hence the source of major theology on Earth but they seem to be centred on either Mesopotamia or Central America. Also with Sprite, mortality is both a reward and punishment, I guess. The fact that you will age past your prime and ultimately die is juxtaposed with the fact that she is just one of a production line of organic robots.

Cause it's a movie...ok if accents are what bothers you then tell me this... - why do aliens speak perfect English including those who don't even Know of humanity - why does every planet have breathable oxygen even those with no plants nor atmospheres like knowhere in gotg -why does every planet have 1G gravity though that's highly unlikely - why does a raccoon speak - why do super advanced aliens from different galaxies use the revolution of an insignificant planet like Earth to represent a year like in endgame when maw told Thanos nebula is from 5 years into the future - why does an Asgardian have an Australian accent -how does Terence Howard transform into don cheadle Cause these are movies ffs, love you Jaby but sometimes man, your overthinking is so distracting

The threat is Knull. The Celestials protect the light while Knull represents all darkness. All Symbiotes (who just came to the MCU?), & The Ebony Blade have come from Knull. The most powerful symbiote turned itself into a living Blade and was used as a weapon by Gorr the God Butcher (who is in Thor: Love and Thunder), and it beheaded the Celestial Knowhere.

35:27 Lol Thanos had Madweiry. He couldn't see the full picture that a baby Celestial was gestating inside a garden world. Maybe Titan had a celestial in it too, and when it broke out if it's egg the species went extinct. Bar Thanos who had the prophecy of the destruction. Peter Quill in Infinity War says Titan is 8° off axis. That sort of a change in a cosmic level doesn't happen from dwindling resources it happens from a new born celestial.

I am glad this is a movie. Because it needed to be larger than life and it was. It was stunning and done so well. Totally in my top 5 MCU movies and they did so much justice to Kirby and Gaiman. Plus the two end credit scenes changes MCU forever as Kevin said. Specially Pi0 the Troll and not the one everyone was talking about . Always loved that little character Pip the Troll nd was blown away as i never thought i would never see him on screen having read Warlock so much growing up. And boy the shot of Ebony Blade which can kill Gods. What a great movie. And somehow Jaby isn't impressed with anything in the movie while i loved it to the dot. See how humans are different and none of us are wrong and actually that our opinions matter in our own way 😊

maybe when it comes to accents, just think, they were on earth 7000 years ago. Which means, they are even older than the Mexicans themselves, or you could say they were the ones who probably created or at least influenced all of the oldest cultures in the world. So it's possible In the Marvel world, these existing nations are affected because of their existence. we can argue that for example it is the characteristic of the Eternal Kingo that makes the Indians what they are with their accents and culture. Likewise with AJAK who lives in the Americas. His accent affects the area in which he is located. Just my opinion although maybe not Marvel's true intent

that doesnt happen in the comics. sprite isnt even a female in the comics so........now he did turn against the eternals and manipulate the great machine and thus all the stuff that happened int he movie by the celestials was really done by sprite cause he wants to have an adult body. but no he only made the eternals think they were human and erased all their memories of having powers and being eternals but they still did not age and still could not die
