Then, Thena follows the deviant into the cave. Kro impersonates Gilgamesh and attempts to take over Thena's mind, but she resists him and kills the deviant.

It tried to do too much at once. Thats the biggest issue. Not enough time for all the lead Characters and the different villains. It should have been a trilogy like all the other marvel movies.

The moment he messed up is when he told her to remember but didn't understand why Gilgamesh said it to her. The words meant nothing to the Deviant unlike when Gilgamesh said the words. Same word but different meanings.

I don’t think the Eternals was a bad movie at all. The cgi was great, had good cinematography, the fight scenes were decent and pretty cool. I think it just didn’t do good bc of the fact it was something new/ different that Marvel put out, that ppl weren’t used too. Not only that but they used characters that ppl didn’t know. Needs more appreciation and I hope they get that in the sequel.

It’s getting a sequel it’s already confirmed this movie was definitely one of the good movies to come out of marvel lately, and to be honest most marvel fans don’t read comics if they did they would know about the eternals and how great this films was and going to be one of the better trilogy’s for marvel especially if they introduce earth 616 Celestial

Those who have deviant dna in them are classified by their chin lines. The Skrulls have lines on their chins is because they are laced with deviant dna when the Celestials came to their home. Thanos was born with deviant syndrome which caused him to have purple skin and a large body build and he’s also a mutant. So Thanos is a combination of deviant because of the syndrome. Eternal because he’s actual an Eternal by blood. And mutant because of his inhuman proportions. Which were all the Celestials creations.

They literally ALL present the same narrative with a different thematic paintjob. The MCU is why cinema is so shitty now, the DCEU is just a sad imitation of that reality.

Thena power will be useless on kro because it is extremely skill and experience based. The more experience kn combat you are, the better you can use thena power to full effect. The most deadly is makkari power which is beginner friendly but you have to be deaf to really use it to it full potential. Gilgamesh and ikkaris power is very straightforward and easy
