If you want a more concentrated ethanol, you should re-distill the distillate from this. Make sure you eliminate the methanol, acetone, butyl alcohol and other impurities, alongside with the extra water.

So I'll write a short list for you to google items or look on eBay: SH3 Hotplate 3000mL Round Bottom Flask (available in different sizes but 3000mL seemed to be best for larger batches) T connector for the condenser and the flask Thermometer adaptor (that's the piece above the T connector) Lipsig Condensor Aquarium pump Aquarium pump hoses Erlenmeyer flask or collecting bottle Fractionating column (optional but will make the process much faster) Stir bar (optional) Glass alcohol thermometer 2 Chemistry stands 3 Claw Grips All of these can be found on eBay. But before you start you'll need to ferment an ethanol solution to distill. I have another video with the link in the description and all the required supplies are in the video. I should also mention when buying all the glassware, they come in various diameter sizes for the connections. You want to be sure that no matter which size you go with, that they all match so they will fit together properly. A quick google search will help determine how the sizing printed on each piece works.

The solutes with the lower boiling point evaporate first so initially more ethanol is coming over than water. As the water concentration increases in the boiling flask, the temperature rises until once almost all the ethanol has come over, then the water would begin to evaporate and come over as well. The trick is stopping the distillation after most pf the ethanol has come over before you get water diluting your product. Hope that makes sense.

To think of it has a quantity is ignorantly dangerous. It's the methenal you fear. But this is super easy. Menthenol does not create an azeotrope with water, so it will all boil out together before climbing to ethenol Temps. . As Menthenol boils well below the ethinol level, you simply need to watch your vapor Temps.
