Few people can make a video as charming and engaging as Ethan. His video skills have improved immensely since he took us on his first road trip. But his smile and joy of life are what keeps bring us (me, at least) coming back for more. He is the person that many of us wish we could hang out with as a friend, uncle, or grandfather. He finds joy in every aspect of his life.

*SIGH* You make me miss Thailand SO much! If you liked the egg dish you had, try Kai Yat Sai - it's a meat stuffed omelet. And yes, with fish sauce. Your videos are so superb. You are the most unique traveler in the world. Love always ... BTW, When you are back in Bangkok, treat yourself to dinner at Mango Tree on Soi Tarntawan (reservations a must). Ask for a seat by the window - they have authentic musicians playing soothing traditional Thai music on the patio while you eat. Enjoy the Kai Yat Sai but start with Miang Kham - not many places serve it - you'll get a betel leaf and little dishes of ingredients - lime, shrimp, chilis etc, add fish sauce and then roll the betel leaf like you would a joint (sorry!) and pop it in your mouth. Taste treat! Highly recommended.

wonderful scenery and colourful commentary! That Lizard is much, much larger than the tiny lizards I saw climbing walls. I think I would have considered running had I come across one that was your lizard's size! My favourite place was outside of ChangMai ... an Elephant Ranch. First of all, we watched these elephants painting, with the help of a human guide, and the paintings were sold at the end of the show. Van Gogh might have recognized some of his work there! Then, I got to sit on the lap of a baby elephant which was already twice my size, under the watchful eye of a parent elephant (mother, I think!) which could probably have swallowed me in one gulp if I hurt her baby! I have a photo to prove it. Then I got to ride with a friend on an elephant, as it walked around the local terrain. I appreciated the special boarding platform that was available for us, because this was one tall, solid elephant. Thanks for re-stirring all these wonderful memories, Ethan!

What a fun in Thailand! Planning to explore Thailand soon. That accommodation is unique and the view is great. It would be nice if you can also visit Philippines one day and experience our beautiful beaches. My suggestion is first to go is Boracay (one of the best beaches in the world) as it is alive even at night!

Hi Ethan from Southern California, thanks for sharing your adventures in Thailand it takes me back in time. I spent a year in Thailand and I remember the humidity and heat very well lol. Best time to visit I think is in January because it cools down a bit. So much to see and do in Thailand that's for sure. Love the food over there and how green everything is.
