What a great discussion between two eloquent, extremely intelligent and engaging individuals. This channel is really shortchanging the content and these brilliant speakers with rudimentary and shoddy production. I am truly horrified that the producers did not conduct this interview in a silent room, with significantly better audio and at minimum 1080p resolution - just my two cents

Rhythm Desai is different. He just loves talking about the Economy, especially the Indian economy ( for us, 😀). A realist and a positive thinker focused on long-term Indian stock market. Thank you and Thankyou Rhythm once again. Thank you Nikunj. It was a clean interview, with no confusion.

The future of india depends whether modi returns or whether mahagathbandhan comes. We need to avoid mahakhichdi at all costs

Tho I’m not in complete support of neither Modi nor any other opposition. But trust me there’s no one who stands a chance against Modi for at least next two terms. Whatever you call it bhakti or haphazard but quick decision making but people are really dialed in Modi as of now which is not going to fade away anytime soon. Which again neither I’m for nor against.

@@matadorlksh mahakhichdi will take us back by couple of decades it was tolerable in the 80s 90s but now we can't afford to lose another decade else india will surely lose the race. So net net no mahakhicdi for at least next 5 decades

India should allow an investment account like an IRA....where transactions of funds/stocks within the account dont attract tax. only when money is taken out of the account, does a tax incident occur.

Always great to hear a well informed, unbiased view point on India and Ridham Desai has been doing it over the years. He is absolutely spot on about the sharp policy changes that the Modi government has initiated that is now bearing fruit and expected to flower in abundance however insulating the Indian economy has been a master stroke, and it is work in progress, primarily because the present government knew that India with its sheer population numbers can be the producer and consumer irrespective of how other countries fare.

Top 10 business houses in India are capable of influencing the policy changes and it's timing. They know how to run ahead and take advantage of it. Hence in the next decade India will see billionaires becoming large. An ordinary person can make money by investing in those companies via the stock market.

Indian IT salaries are more than Singapore and on par with Europe. It's just 50% less compared to USA. Building Rentals are also going up. India is no longer cheap outsourcing destination.

Given the 2-3X increase in salaries of tech talent, cost of outsourcing is no more 1/10th...At best it is 40-50% of US and almost similar to Europe

Ridham Desai - US recession, India bear market. Saurabh Mukharjeia - US recession, India bull market. 🤔

For me too this was the very first thought that came in my mind when I heard him. However, I feel US recession causes a bear market in India at first (RD's point) but it is always followed by a bull market in India, it takes anywhere from 3-12month after the recessionary period in US for the growth phase in India to kickstart (SM's point). So IMO, they both are are right in their own timelines.

Remember when the US sneezes the world catches cold! Although marginally agree that the recession in US wont be felt as bad as before. The world largest economy will bring down markets significantly. Every single time this has happened. The Indian consumption has improved but the per capita income is ₹ 91,481 and of US is ₹ 50,00,000. How could you just rely on the Indian consumption if you are 1/50th, too optimistic. I would say!

@@anuragharsole6387 man think with brains . This is not 2008 situation . US won’t fall but US will have head winds for next 12-18 months . But india have tail winds bcoz our inflation will come under control by Dec bcoz we nvr printed cash and if fuel cost goes down our inflation can come low more fast . And russia market is in shambles China market is right now very volatile . So india is one of the best place splly in emerging markets . Ofcourse it will be volatile in short term . But I see good trend for next 12-18 months .
