It was a big day for Emirates Team New Zealand sailing in the final race against Luna Rossa, but perhaps the biggest thrill of the day came as Tom Cruise and his son Connor jumped onboard the AC72 and took the helm on a thrill ride around San Francisco Bay.

I was sitting on the back of a boat one day and a guy was wandering past and stopped to say hi and how was my day. Tom Cruise. It was just spontaneous and while I don't agree with his belief system he came across as a decent human being

Who hates him? Where are these _'so many people'_ who hate him, and who are they? Stop exaggerating just to get attention, mate. You're talking bullshit! It's getting boring, and there's no substance to this claim either. Give your source, provide some officially collected figures (from quotable sources, not from some Mickey Mouse website). If _'so many people hate him'_ , as you make it sound like, like it's just an exception of a few people who liked him, then he wouldn't have the success with his movies that he has, because people go and watch his movies particularly because of him , not because of the stories. He knows it, every studio and exec in Hollywood knows it. He can also be an outright asshole and is a manipulative control freak. But obsession is an engine, not an engine failure. So, everyone in their right mind knows that too and do not _'not like'_ him for that either. Scientology outcasts and opposers may _:'not like him'_ , but, you bet some of those hypocrites still watch his movies. He's also a very welcomes guest in talk shows, ever seen that? Still! No controversial questions, just fun and entertainment. They wouldn't invite him if _'so many people'_ couldn't like him. So much for who doesn't like him. 😅🤪🥱

I think it will only be worth the investment if Team NZ actually win the thing- bring the cup back home and get to host the defending of it in New Zealand. I believe that's the governments view too, as I don't think there will be funding next time if they don't. In saying that, I love Team NZ and I'm glad our country is in this. It awesome seeing this highly skilled crew that have not been bought out buy some billionaire, and are doing it for the country the belong to and are proud of.

Let me see. So us NZ tax payers handed over 36 million towards this boating race for team New Zealand. And I'm sure there are plenty of New Zealand citizens who have spent a lot of money traveling to San Francisco to support and watch the team. Those NZ's over there would love to have done what Tom Cruise just did, so why should a jumped up little twat like Tom Cruise just jump on a boat that we paid for - for no other reason than "It's Tom Cruise".
