I HAVE TO SAY I LIKE THE TOTAL DEMONSTRATION EVEN THE WEIGHT THE SIZE THEN THE MISSES HANDLING THE DEVICE GREAT.I BOUGHT THE HELIUM RACK 2 BUT THINKING STRONGLY ABOUT THIS SIMPLE DEVICE UNIT PUTTING ON THE BIKE AND GO.

Great and easy to use. One nit of mine is, I did notice the license plate is completely obscured from view when the unit is raised up vertically. Not sure how that is handled?

Thule sells a licence plate holder, with lights that you strap onto the rack and when the bikes are loaded can also be attached to the bikes. I have owned one for two years and it has served me well.

What about a 4" tire fatbike?

The Thule # TH53GC Helium XT bike rack can handle bikes with tires up to 3 inches wide, so it won't work with a fat bike with 4 inch wide tires. Saris has a similar rack, part # SAR73MR that can carry bikes with tires up to 5 inches wide. This rack would be a great choice for you, as it'll tilt rearward like the Thule Helium does. "shifting back and forth a little bit"......ha ha, that whole rack was twisting. For a $700 price point, there are others out there that will probably perform better in the stability category.
