Mandy, will you be doing a new start to finish up-to-date walkthrough of how to set up Everbee email as of March 9, 2024? It has changed so much since this video. I have never been so confused. One quick question, does the Share and Save work for all products on my Etsy shop through Everbee or just what is offered in the drop down menu, ie. best seller, new products, etc?

Hey Mandy -- thanks for the info and all the knowledge you so generously share! Question -- I have an email list from a previous Shopify store, one that's not and never has been connected with my current Etsy store (same niche). Can I upload that list into Everbee and use it to try to send those folks over to my Etsy store? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your clear explanation. Very helpful! Quick question, please... can you insert links to your website directly on POD products sold on ETSY or is it against the rules? I'm thinking of offering a free course and would love to add a link to the cheatsheet they're buying from me.

You absolutely can, as long as it’s with the product they receive and the external website isn’t on your actual Etsy shop (the exception is a link to an email signup page - those are fine with Etsy). Your idea sounds great! 😊

I have a BIG question that I'm nervous about. On my landing page - Is it allowed to have a link to my website at all? I have a promo code offer that is for both my Etsy Shop and Website. I link to both of those on the "Thanks for joining" page after they opt in.

When you are ready to expand outside of Efsy, would you just send an email directing them to that website? Would you also keep sending them info about your Etsy shop simultaneously?

Yes! Since it’s not linking to another site with products those are allowed 😊 Just make sure if you’re sending it via Etsy messages that it’s after an order (or in response to a customer message) since you are not allowed to send unsolicited Etsy messages 🤓

No, that’s why systems like these are necessary. Etsy sends messages related to orders, but it’s not the same as an email list or email marketing. In fact, even if Etsy had one I likely wouldn’t recommend it. As a business you want to be in control of your own email list. Etsy is a marketplace and therefore they control it and its customers, which is why email lists can be so important 🤓

Thank you for another amazing video! Though what will prevent customers using this “one time” subscription discount over and over again? I didn’t find a way to limit its usage on Etsy. Or maybe that it is just me. I mean, it is ok if they share that code with their sister in law 😊 and I get a sale from her too, but if they use it with ALL their purchases and I just break ever or even lose money each time? Thank you for providing insight!

There’s always that risk with Etsy, just make sure you calculate it so that you are still making money with the coupons. The number of people that *may* do this is also very small, so I generally don’t get too concerned about it as long as there’s still profit. You can always periodically change the codes, you’d just want to go in and change the code in that first welcome email 😊

I'm sorry, I just want to create my email list and I don't understand a landing page? It's like a web page but more concrete, something like that? How do I make one? And how do you get the email if it is now prohibited? I don't quite understand what will be done with everbee if they no longer receive emails from buyers

I use Aweber because Everbee email wasn’t around when I started. You only need one, so if you like your Everbee subscription then you can totally stay there with their email 😊
