There is something about cooking that grabs me every time I see it. The discipline, the art, the backstory of the people, it is as if the food had an impression of the human being and his endearing nature. I don't eat meat for ethical reasons but I still enjoy this video.

People's thought about No.9 grandpa is a bit misunderstanding. May be he is doing that job for living but you gotta understand cutural difference. Old people who work on the street in Korea does not mean they are always poor people, some of them are landlords or just bored people who don't want to be in their place and want to do somthing constructive. They've lived very hard life so just do nothing after retirement makes them anxious even they have enough money for living. The No.9 grandpa might not be in these category but who knows? If he is actually a landlord who has several buildings with hundred thousand of dollors monthly rental fee

I find these to be the most satisfying videos. I've only recently discovered them, but they are EXTREMELY captivating. The skills...the unbelievable timing, the simple tools....simply amazing. I can't stop watching them. If I could only wish for one thing, (in some of them) is to know what some of the foods ARE. Most are obvious...but sometimes I wonder what they just added...or if that's cheese or cabbage you just added. Not looking for recipes...just an understanding of what I'm watching. Even a couple subtitles would be SO appreciated. Thank-you so much for showing us your awesome skills.

@@james35124 I suspect you are bang on, James. But because they do what they do so effortlessly, shouldn`t undermine the skill involved. I also suspect `belltans` hasn`t cooked anything more than thawing a frozen pizza. I find myself almost getting anxious, when they are going about their business, that something is going to be overdone....toast too brown...eggs overcooked....but it`s always perfect. THAT is a skill.

When I was on the trip, usually, I didn’t go to a big restaurant but I like to visit and eat at these place where I could looking the way people prepared food at the front of me. Although I couldn’t speak theirs languages but I used my ...international one....that’s sign language and everything was 👌 Peoples are very nice and we fell like welcoming in theirs countryside . It has a lot of things to discover.....on the trip. I wish if everyone would do once in life, that will be great ! Thank you for letting us relive once again of this beautiful place ❤️

For those who are wondering what he is making on 03:00 it's a Korean traditional treat called Dalgona. It's a mixture or brown sugar and baking powder. It gives a bitter sweet taste. Tastes effin good if you give it a good ratio.
