​@dylb0t EU caster casting NA is fine, especially if their good at casting. However, most people don't want Hercule or kiwi casting because they're not experienced with the momentum shifts of RL. They need more experience first, they should be casting small tournaments like how Johnny does with 1v1 tourneys before heading into the big ones like regional or majors. They cant be forcing them to get experience through very important regional. Get your head out of your ass about misogyny and understand what people are saying before assuming. You must be a believer of all women no matter what, huh?

The big issue with them and many of the na casters is they start with a hype tone and then try to make their commentary fit it when really nothing exciting might be happening except some normal midfield play and it’s just so cringe

There doesn't need to be DEI hires in rocket league casting. Guys like johnny were chosen because they know the game and are captivating. The girls know the game and are female? Is that all it takes? Johnny is talking about the teams' previous matches, previous game similarities, and how they've been scrimming. She can only talk about what is happening at that moment. It's not entertaining in the slightest, it's borderline embarrassing

@@daibach7749 To say that there isn't blatant misogyny running rampant in the comment sections of the vods and twitter posts is either blindness or ignorance. Yes, they are very clearly diversity hires, and who ever makes these decisions behind the scenes is trying to "stay with the times". I'm not stating that they are great casters, far from it, as you said they don't have the knowledge and understanding of the game near any of the other casters and are clearly being forced into the limelight. So that should be basis they're critiqued for, they should be critiqued for the awkwardness of their casts, not for being a woman and not for taking this opportunity given to them. Obviously not everyone is being sexist when they state their qualms with them, but there is quite a good percentage of people being so.
