In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I Formed WESTPHALIA As The IRISH MUNSTER I play as Munster (The Irish One) in Europa Universalis 4 1.35 Domination. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Munster and I attempt to form the nation of Westphalia. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. Should be pretty easy, hou can usually get the ottomans to support you, after that is when it gets hard

In this latest batch it feels like every single time there is a Triple Alliance with portugal, castile, and England and it makes it so extremely hard to play outside of europe, because if you let those guys go they will just snowball to such a degree that it lacked the entire game anytime you have to fight one of them, let alone you need an army of over a million and about 200 heavies.

In my last game, they allied Portugal, and PUed Spain and France. As Italy, turned the last half of the game into a total slog. They really do seem to be way stronger

Ottoman pirates did raid the Irish coast once, so there's some historical precedent! Raid of Baltimore (West Cork)

barbary pirates, not ottoman. While it did include ottoman turks in the crew, its more closely associated with the barbary pirates of the time

Yeah I think forming Ireland is going to be tougher than this. Although it was pretty funny watching England go sicko-mode.

I think you should continue this save in the next episode. Release the other Munster, play as them, break free from this Munster and then try to form Ireland.

Pro tip: if you wasnt to avoid coalitions and the AE is between 45 and 55, then just peace out on december 30th. As soon as january hits the AE will die down significantly.

Wahey more Irish play! I was disappointed the flight of the earls idea wasn't the one you went with but this is good too. Also, first pronunciation you do is the German Munster, second one is the Irish Munster.

i definitely think this one is harder than the next video. pushing into the HRE is painful, all you have to do with the next one is beat up england which should be easy with the right allies.

it's a good thing that the IA near the player get buffed adn target you. it adds more flavour to the game, they should do the same in CK3, the game is really too easy to be fun once you have 50+ hours of experience.

The nation called Munster in game is properly called Dessie or Des (actually Desmund, from Deas Mhumhain, South Mounster). Munster as a geographical identity existed only when the three kingdoms of Munster, Thomond, Ormond and Desmond, held fealty to a single king, most recently the O'Brien dynasts.

14:18 the first name is correct for the german one and the second one for the Irish (I think at least in case of the Irish one, the German one I am pretty sure, as I lived there for some years)

I formed Westphalia once, as Aachen (my borders were from the south of France to the eastern part of Germany, with Switzerland as a border against Austria).

So to comment on your “If you play as Kamchatka, Spain will target you.” Let me tell you about my Colonial Kamchadals game. Play as Siberian Native. Conquer natives around me. Settle part of Alaska. Discover gold. Spain comes and attacks me before I could ever even form a colonial nation. Get wiped because Spain, but the S is silent. Get reduced to OPM even though I was allied to Shun, who was the emperor at that point. PAIN

I LOVE Munster. My favorite nation to form Ireland as. Obviously, as German Munster you should form Ireland and conquer all of the British isles to have a repeat of both the Anglo Saxon invasion *and* restore the British isles to their proper state

irish munster will be harder just with where you are located and HRE - AE gunna suck.... and chances of fighting england to alliances probably wont help you in ireland
