In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I Tried To Recruit 1 MILLION ELEPHANTS I play as Lan Xang in Europa Universalis 4 1.34 Lions of The North. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Lan Xang and I attempt to recruit 1 million elephants. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. The larrakia referred to themselves as the saltwater people so I propose you own three coastal salt producing provinces. There’s one in New Zealand, one in the Philippines, two in china, and three in India.

AE in Indochina is not as important. The numbers are high, but the region is still pretty divided by Religion and culture, so although you gain 60 AE by annexing Lan Na, only Ayutthaya got the AE, the guys to the east don't care. You can easily unite the region faster than you did in this video and the last one. The numbers are high, but it looks scarier than it is. Not that it's important, you just literally asked lol

yeah I definitely feel likes hes playing a bit too cautious in these videos, if its only a few nations showing up in the ae menu you can just ignore them, usually they will be either too small to worry about or you'll have a truce with them anyway

Just take espionage until ae -20% . Blob like an average american obese citizien heat shit . After you clear your home region just change it for espansion or explo

The Larrakia people live in the Darwin area. Charles Darwin was famous for his expedition to the Galapagos Isles. So why not try to colonize those islands?

Challenge - as Lan Xang, have 1 million elephants. is Lan Xang - ❌ has 1 million cavalry - ❌ has elephants - ❌ challenge - success Jokes aside, great video, very entertaining campaign, although it lacked the garnish of pain we got used to.

One little elephant went out to play on a spider's web one day. He had such enormous fun that day that he invited another elephant to play... For the record when you get to over three hundred elephants the chipper camp counselor finally breaks character to make you stop.

16:58 Tbh as you were playing with puppets outside of Indochina, the subjugation CB on Pegu could've been quite useful so you can get them as a puppet too

A fun idea for Lakkaria, whatever goal you decide, is to do a later bookmark than 1444. Fun fact: The Australia an Oceanic region hardly changes at all historically (1444-1821) So maybe start in 1700 - game end with some crazy goal and see if you can do it before time runs out. I dunno if you'll read this, but a different bookmark start should be in the cards for you. If you never played a later bookmark they arent optimized or updated from patches and expansions so they're a total mess.

I noticed you had steppe cavalry as your cav unit. Perhaps if you changed to obsolete forces and clicked on elephant the model would convert

what i did to get the ireland achievementis hope for france to release meath, conquer ireland asap, conquer scotland by attacking their irish ally. Then i annexed their mountain fort and capital. Afterwards i colonised canada and usa, consolidated my power and invaded england in 1570

Don't remember if you already did this, but get every cult as Larrakia. It should be doable in the 1500s with a lot of hopping around and colonial gameplay.

SEA is my most played area in EU4, As i've noticed, AE in this area isn't such a big deal, the numbers might be high, but you can easily outgrow them, and even fight them. The AI doesn't really form big alliance blocks that can prevent you from expanding, unlike in europe. The biggest problem in this area is just ayyuthaia and rebels.

Larrakians call themself "Saltwater people" so you should colonize the province next to the Great Salt Lake, move your capital there and call it "Salt Water City"

The reason AE is so bad is that it isn’t. 4 nations are needed to form a coalition, so if you have truces with enough people so that there aren’t 4 Theravada nations off truce they won’t coalition you.

I feel like paradox has made the game think all the countries in SEA are closer to each other than they are due to confusion based on map distortion Check how big Thailand is compared to Europe, its a big fuckin place down there but people often think they are small countries, they are not.

He couldn't take provinces cause he used the Subjugation CB. White peaces give you the shortest truces, so he white peaced so he could attack them again sooner with the right CB

You just broke your country. Having 100k cav AND stable economy is more appealing. And if you keep just enough inf and art to be useful it would have been a worthy achievement.
