In this video titled EU4 - What if Europa Universalis 4 Had 1914 Borders? we take a look at what would happen if EU4 had 1914 borders / what if EU4 started in 1914. In this video I use the Extended Timeline mod to start a campaign of EU4 in 1914. As you can probably guess this scenario resulted in some pretty funny shenanigans. Obviously you would expect that nations with the highest development would dominate, but did it really turn out that way? This whole run was controlled by the AI only without my interference and it yielded some pretty interesting results to be honest. So, after watching this video you will know what would happen if Iberian Regions were united in 1444. What is the next "What if" scenario that I should do? Leave a comment below! Nepal and Great Britain formed a friendship/alliance of sorts after the anglo-nepali war. They sided with Great Britain during the Indian Wars of Independence and Gurkhas regiments were made part of the British Army.

@@TheRedHawk It was because the Gurkhas proved themselves to be probably the toughest and best warriors the British had ever fought in the Anglo-Nepali war, and pretty much kicked the British’s ass, agreed to the terms because they didn’t have the manpower to sustain a protracted war. The Gurkhas who serve with the British carry the most Victoria Crosses (British Equivalent of the American Medal of Honor) out of every other regiment, and proved to be some of their most elite troops without being special forces. Absolute respect to those men, they are such badasses, and incredibly humble.

US or Italy didn't join. That's what prolly changed the dynamic of the war. Yes Centrals still lost, but ultimately it didn't have any real consequences and US itself stood in isolation for entire game, yes they still became the most powerful nation, but never got into European or African politics and barely into Asian

Please make what if every Colonial Region are a (formable colonial nation) nation. And please use nation with unique formable national ideas as many as possible. Only Peru, Louisana, Colombia, and La Plata colonial region doesn't have formable colonial nation with unique national ideas.

idk why but it seems many strategy games use the mercator projection even though it shows nations closer to the pole being very inaccurate, its rather surprising that not more strategy games use an actual globe for the map or a more accurate portrayal of the globe

Here's a 'What If' scenario suggestion - give certain small or doomed countries maxed technology and maybe full ideas. Like Byzantium, Granada, Ulm, Riga, Hisn Kayfa, Aztecs and Hawaii minors as an example. Can overwhelming technological advantage make up for being smol?

11th vid of asking for You should do a “What if Islam never took off as a caliphate” and have it so most of Arabia is under an Islam state, but Persia is zoroastrian and still strong, Anatolia is divided up between the Sultanate of Rum, Byzantium, and a few other minors, and that Byzantium still owns greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria, but Egypt is still under islam but in a seperate country from the Caliphate. And also the Levant should have a Cristian Israel and Lebanon, but has a few Turkic ( north and northeast) and islamic (south and southeast) kingdoms surrounding them. One more thing is that the Steppe regions should still be like a tengri faith from the mongols. I think it would be a cool game.
