Hey mate. Just purchased one and my question has to do with unboxing I suppose. Across the oval area where the camera is located appears to be a protective film. Dark red in tint. Is it removable? Thx. Like the channel

I don't actually remember! It could be a sticker or just the way the light catches the sensor

Can that camera work only with solar panels charged instead of keeping charging its batteries? I need it for a place that won't have residency for months (which means no one to charge batteries if needed)

@osham5206 the inbuilt solar panel charges the internal battery and needs 2hrs of sun a day

@osham5206 yes it'll only need charging by power mains if there is insufficient sun to keep it charged

Hi Paul, One question please. If you've got the light to flash when the alarm is activated, how does the camera cope with that rapid change of brightness at night? Does it effectively end up blinding itself, as the lens is continually adjusting. Thanks

Hey Phil - it's only a 5 second alarm so the cam adjusts onces flashing stops
