Hi, Skin boosters and botox are very different. Skin Booster is a treatment that consists of micro-injections of dermal filler in the deeper layers of the skin, that hydrates and repairs the skin, whereas Botox injections relax the muscles in your face to smooth out lines and wrinkles, such as crow's feet and frown lines.

Good question. I've just done a skin booster injection training.. skin boosters are different to botox and dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are made with cross linked hyaluronic acid the molecules are more rigid and hence used as fillers to provide structure and shape where it is injected and it tends to stay where its injected until the body eventually breaks it down. Botox relaxes the muscles and sometimes are used alongside skin boosters also for different results. Skin boosters contain some low molecular weight and some mix of low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. these are NOT crossed link unlike dermal fillers they are free flowing so like an oil slick once you drop it into the dermis it glides and attracts moisture to hydrate the skin. Importantly it triggers the skin's fibroblasts to make its own collagen and elastin over a period of 6-9 months you're creating a natural skin rejunevation process. Dermal fillers can have much more serious complications such as blocking blood vessels if the injector puts the needle into a blood vessel which can lead to a stroke or even blindless. Their knowledge of facial veins and arteries should be spot on. This doesn't happen with skin boosters as they are free flowing HA and glides and disperses under the skin so even if you hit a blood vessel it's not likely to cause occlusion. Skin boosters are the most natural way to stay youthful without looking fake.

Hey there! Thanks for your comment. While it may look too good to be true, it really is! The ampoule is French-made with 53 different minerals, antioxidants, and nutrients. When delivered into the skin, it improves the skin condition from the inside, which is why it takes around 1 week for the effects to show. But once it does, you'll definitely notice healthier and glowier skin! Joy isn't wearing any foundation in this video as she usually doesn't. If you check out her Instagram, you'll see that her skin looks great without makeup!
