Well here's the thing- the ads have *not* been placed by me, but by youtube/copyright holders I make no money on youtube at all, seeing as my channel isn't monetized. There is no point in trying to monetize it, because the rights to the music I upload belongs to the artists that already have monetized it. And obviously youtube isn't going to to pay out money for the music twice that would be bad business. So where am I going with this? Well, when you see ads on my channel- and there usually are a few, they have been placed by youtube and sadly I can't do anything about it, there simply is no way for me to turn those off. Trust me they are as annoying to me as they are to you- seeing my views drop, dislikes rise and people unsubscribing because of the ads being there. I don't know if youtube is trying to make as much money as they can before EU's copyright directive article 11 and 13 are put into motion or what it is, but lately it seems like they have bombarded my channel with ads. The good news... There are a few ways to avoid the ads: 1. You can download an adblocker, adblock plus is what I use, it's a plugin for your internet browser and it's free- there are several other good ones out there that do the same. Google it and you'll see... 2. If you're watching from a smartphone, fastforward/wind the mix all the way to the end, then hit replay (the symbol looks something like this 🔄) and all the ads are gone. 3. 1. You can sign up for youtube premium or youtube music and pay a monthly fee to watch ads free.
