"It beats as it sweeps as it cleans" is Hoover’s tagline. Eureka occasionally used a similar one in its advertising after it added beater bars on its Disturbulator brush roll in the 1950s: "It Beats/Shakes, Sweeps/Combs, and Suction Cleans".

Very nice machine. I believe that is one of the Brandy Wine colored machines. I am not a Eureka expert but looked into them some as I have my grandma's Montgomery Wards version of this machine that is one step up. It has a power selector on the machine. My machine is all original and I am pretty certain that is a generic replacement hose that you put the ends and pig tails needed to make it work with many machines. I have a similar hose for some of my Electrolux machines with Electrolux fittings. My crevice tool has yellowed too and you are missing the cover to go over the tools.

If you happen to locate some of these parts please let me know. I would like to get it back to original if possible. Do you think your machine has the same motor?

@@Bunkysworkshop My machine is packed away in a closet but I pulled up my pics of it and the label says that it is 11.5 amps the machine says 3.9 peak HP on the top. Parts can be found on Ebay. The original vinyl hoses are know for cracking vinyl and the metal end of the house where it put the attachments the glue can give away.

@@Bunkysworkshop Next time I have mine out I will have to look but I think it won't be hard to fit a Hoover, Kennmore or Numatic Hepa type bag to the machine for great filtering. I try to upgrade as many machines as I can to keep them cleaner and protect the bag. As Ibaisaic refers to them as fleece bags.

Very nice Eureka Power Team. What model number-type is it? It appears to be a 1279-A from the late 1970s/early 1980s. The headlight was an extra feature on select Roto-Matics in that era. It became more common in the succeeding 1700 Series in the '80s. The 1500 Series at the time was the smaller Princess-style Power Team. Eureka marketed many models concurrently to meet the spectrum of customer preferences.

@@Bunkysworkshop Thanks for the info. I reviewing the vid, I noticed that you had stated it - sorry. Ah, yes, the 1700 series Tool-Pak should've given me a clue - had you not done so. I believe it initially had a smoke gray transparent cover. It succeeded he 1200 Series around 1980; that had the uncovered nubs for erect storage and probably a less powerful motor and different pn. I like the Tool-Pak and am impressed with the lighted power nozzle's performance. Btw, I've heard that some bags don't fit snugly and leak dust, so keep an eye on that. Some put a terrycloth bonnet on the motor for that reason along with lining the inlet with felt to ensure a better seal. It's for sure a great performer, and the Brandywine color is attractive. Forgot to ask the model and amps of the pn. What are they? And what's the design of the brush roll - beater bars & bristles?

Wanted to let you know, also, that the canister style originated in 1971 as the 1600 "Sweet Sixteen" Series, which were straight suction cleaners.

I wonder if dipping the end of your crevice tool in Plasti-Dip, or a similar product, would repair it?
