Does Mr Ataman deserve respect and gretid for being the coach of the current champions and the best team in Europe for the last 2 seasons before this one? Sure he does!! As an OLY fan though, the statement he made a couple of days ago, about his certainty of winning back to back trophies, it is by far my favorite moment until now. IMO, he just added some extra weight to his players. They have been, theoretically, the favorite for the upcoming semi final and they play against a "special' outsider that has already managed to win b2b championships before, a coach that has won b2b trophy and a team that has 3 Greek players in the roster that have already won b2b euroleague. Was it a good idea to verbally crown his team b2b champions so early? No. If he wanted to boost his team confidence, because Efes have not been playing so well this year like they did before, he should have done it privately and not publicly. I feel like almost thanking him for that statement, not matter what will eventually happen at Belgrade.

@@redhippog7 Bartzokas doesn’t have b2b trophy as a head coach. Only Pini Gerson had it, now Ergin Ataman has it too.

He also made both Besiktas and Galatasaray champions of the Turkish league when Fenerbahce was dominating the league, I am a Fener fan but I take my hat off to this guy, without any doubt the biggest coach in Turkish sports history.

Ataman/Atabek is Turkish equivalent of Duke. We should call him Ergin "The Duke of Basketball" Ataman. Well done Ergin, you are a great guy.

People can judge his aggressivity or even dislike his manners but everyone should be aware that he won 4 different tittles in Europe. His team is leading Euroleague consecutively for 4 years. Remember the white season, Efes had no rival at all. So this could be his way to motivate his team and himself. So to ask for some respect to him is sth that Coach Ataman has already deserved. If Coach Ataman manages to make B2B as he claimed then what we are going to say? Probably many of us will start talking about this brave and genius man in a way how he motivated his team.

Atsan atamazsın, satsan satamazsın. 2 defa üstüste Euroleague kazanan her koç haksız olsa da kesinlikle haklıdır çünkü boru gibi kupaları yanındadır. Çocukça 15k Barcelonalı önünde "I win the cup" dediğin gün hafızalarımıza sonsuza dek kazındı hocam. "THAT'S THE TURKISH GUY!!!"

Τελικά Λεσσόρ... Καλός παίκτης, σίγουρα, ιδιαιτέρως φοβερός ριμπάουντερ... Θα μπορούσε βέβαια να έφερνε ακόμα και Κεβάριους Ηayes... τής Ζαλγκίρις. Έχει στοιχεία κι αυτός. Λοιπόν, καλός ο Λεσσόρ, ανέβηκε φέτος, με Ζοτς, υστερεί σωματικά, από Μιλουτίνωφ - Φαλ... Αρκετά καλός επιθετικά, στην άμυνα έχει πρόβλημα. Κι αυτό, διότι δεν διαθέτει αυτό που λέμε... His real name is Ergin fenevin kocası. Fenevin kocası, in Turkish means, ‘husband of fenev’, ‘always wins against fenev’ Ataman.
