Welcome back to another Scotties Clock World clock repair tutorial.
In this video I service and repair a German alarm clock from the 70s/80s
The alarm striker is missing but I may have another one in one of my spare parts boxes that I can use to replace the missing one.
I start to dismantle the clock by removing the cup bells and the feet so the movement is accessable.
Then the hands are removed, then the case back, then the clock face.

I need info on a wehrle 3 in one clock, like how to remove the 3 top knobs!

I have a Europa clock too and it has the same movement as this one, but its balance wheel is broken. Could anyone guide me to where I can find replacement?

The actual balance wheel, or the hairspring? I get my hairsprings here: www.cousinsuk.com/product/hairsprings-clock

@@ScottiesClockWorld The hair spring is fine thankfully, but the balance wheel is broken specifically its tip which sits in the jewels. It happened after it fell on the ground decades ago.

@@eaglewatch4756 , oh, that's a different matter. Usually these type of parts are scavenged from other broken clocks. The chance of a similar clock with a broken balance staff is virtually nil. eBay has used clock balance wheels for sale.

@@ScottiesClockWorld Thank you sir, I’ll keep an eye out for one on eBay even though it’s not a convenient method as most sellers on eBay don’t ship to my country.
