Je suis du même avis. Kee est un musicien extraordinaire et d'un plus haut calibre. Kee Marcello est un savant de la mélodie.

Of course he was, but he refused at the time. He claimed musical differences to be the reason. When he saw their comeback was successful, probably he then decided to sue them, as he claimed they promised him the spot in the band and that he legally owned 1/5 of the name Europe which he said he he bought for a million dollars from John Norum back in a day and he said they never paid him the money back. I guess he wanted to be the only guitarist just like he once was between 1987-1992. Some say John Norum did not want Marcello to come back for the very same reason. I assume the part of ultimate settlement between him and Europe was their consent to re-recording Europe hits by Kee... Which he then did on Redux-Europe. Needless to say the album went unnoticed and notice how Kee somehow to this day still plays lots of Europe songs live, even from the era when he hadn't been in the band yet. A pity though, as Europe with him would be only stronger, especially live. And when performing live together, both Norum and Marcello could each play their respective solos. But unfortunately we will never see that happen.

Norum refused a comeback with him and Kee on guitars. The band ousted Kee and went on their way sounding nothing like they used to. Now they sound like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple but they are forced to play their hits live. Europe are weird these days.
