Here's a little tidbit of info I just read in the rule book: All vehicles entered must be clean, rust-free and freshly painted a bright color. That's why they look so nice when parading around. You'd never know this was a rule 2 minutes after the race starts, LOL.

Seeing that old dodge Monaco Belgium hearse get trashed was terrible! Someone speant many hours hand making it. It was so nice before they did this to it, was a one of a kind car and it’s probably scrapped and gone forever after this. Would have been nice to see it get restored but that probably didn’t happen.

It raced at least one or two more days. After that it went to the scrapper.

Autorodeo Nederland Oh awesome, yep gone forever when it could’ve been an awesome dd that nothing else could come close to. I have pictures of it before it was painted, didn’t like the pink but that’s just paint.

Hopefully one day the driver will regret trashing such an irreplaceable vehicle for no reason at all, there’s a million Mondeo’s out but there was only one of these hearses.

@@ZachElder to be fair they have raced much rarer cars than the hearse. At some special meetings they even race 30's cars. They are all very rusted and the restore guys most of the time sold it to the banger people. Most of them are donor cars.

Aaaah...at 9:54 it appears the big V8 in that Yank tank was replaced with a smaller engine tucked way back...makes sense.

Wow. There were an interesting mix of cars. Where do the find all of these older cars and on average how long do they last?

Most are barn finds these days. Depending on the driver some cars may last a whole season when they go for racing. The drivers who are up for a crash can use their car normally the whole day.

Autorodeo Nederland thanks for that! I have emailed cams bangers and they have told me the bba championship meeting at 2/9/2018 the start time is 10pm!? That can't be correct surely? Will it be 10am instead? Thanks

Jimson brown this isn't about demolition derby, its a bangerrace. You are aloud to stop opponents from racing. And thats where teamracing starts and wars between teams.

I've heard of being stupid, but these folks display it like it's a trophy!!! Some of those paint jobs take a lot of time just to be smashed, but what is the point of ramming your car into a pile of wrecked cars just to take yourself out of the race?
