Where do you place them in the jamb in consideration of hardy/lp smart siding and a surrounding trim? Hard to tell how it was done here. Also, can they be put into a 2x4 wall (the real old 2x4s not the 1.5x3.5s we get today)?

What fastner do you recommend as far as material type? I would worry about regular fastners rusting and staining the frame

I have them arrived but bug screen is separate- how to install this screen- I am stupid - help !!!

This brand of windows is Aluplast and although they are way better than what Andersen and Marvin have in their catalogue, they are considered entry level compared to other brands like Schuco, Geneo or Gealan, and in Europe at this size they would run 280 euros + the insect screen+ install. Just checked with our supplier in north of Italy. Once you import it in the US it may add 40%,. So it will be around 390$, + insect screen, yet it still beat 600/700$ you would pay for an Andersen and you get a better performing and more durable window.

@@sebastiantevel898 $390 for what you are saying is entry level! Wow. Just starting looking into these tilt & turns. Thinking this might be the way for some egress I have.

Can this window open horizontally instead of vertically. Do it comes in 43 width by 25 height which is the rough opening size.
