It's kind of interesting to see this from a cultural standpoint. Here in USA we have Indian, Mexican, Chinese, Korean, etc. cultures and foods, all with hot foods. From my limited knowledge, please chime in and correct me if i am wrong, but UK doesn't have quite the diversity in foods with heat. Here spicy is on pretty much anything you want it to be.
