The Copernicus Sentinel-2 takes us over Kourou - home to Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana, where the James Webb Space Telescope is being prepared for its upcoming launch - in this edition of the Earth from Space programme.

ahem... 4+ minute video, 1+ minute "outro", 1+ minute about JWST (which has nothing to do with the video description). So that leaves about 2 minutes for the actual subject, where not much was explained or highlighted about Korou, its surroundings and most of all the spaceport. Really? I would have expected the individual launch sites for Ariane 5/6, Vega and Soyuz to be highlighted, as well as the still visible historic launch sites.

GO ESA. 👍 COULD YOU SHOW ME MY HOMELAND NEW ZEALAND FROM ABOVE. WE HAVE A STRANGE CREATION MYTH THAT THE NORTH ISLAND IS A FISH AND THE SOUTH ISLAND IS A CANOE. PERHAPS YOU CAN SHOW US A BETTER PERSPECTIVE THAN THE EXTRATERRESTRIALS DID TO OUR GREAT MAORI GOD. PEACE FROM PLANET PERTH.
