The behaviour of some of those "fans" on the rural part of that final climb was nothing short of outrageous. Absolutely disgusting..... flares, standing in the middle of the road, shoving things in Pogačar's face, running along side the riders...... no respect, just wanting to be on TV. Shame on them.🤬🤬🤬

Top 3 are all really impressive for different reasons. Tadej is explosive and having the year of his life, jonas has had a miracle recovery and is performing so well and remco in his first tour showing he is that good. Along with the side stories of cav, bini and French wins, it's been an incredible entertaining tour so far.

The impression is that Pog’s pride was stung when he was outsprinted by Jonas the other day. His “Incredible Hulk” pose at the finish was a demonstration of re-establishing dominance in the race. Very exciting race, like a back and forth boxing match between champions.

They said he miscalculated on food that time, so he didn't have enough energy to make another gap. But the look on Jonas' almost dead face after the sprint, compared to Pog's another day at the office, was telling. There's just that difference in training time, which was taken away from Jonas... but if he eventually wins, he truly is the greatest.

@HeadPack for sure, we'll see how much he can keep this up. But even if he finishes 3rd in the end, this is a huge win for Remco. He really just needs to keep expanding his gap to 4th. Obviously, he'd love to finish 2nd. I think he'll need to take time on a more technical stage for that. Unfortunately, his team isn't really capable of helping him at all🥴

Maybe wait for it….It is unusual for the yellow jersey to drive like this unless he has something to fear. Pogacar needs a big gap to Vingegaard. I can only imagine that the weight difference between the two plays a massive role in the coming stages. Pogacar is +10 kg to Vingegaard which is not preferable. That being said Pogacar looked good today👍

The only thing that is clear after today is that teams win grand tours. You really think Jonas would have lost 40 seconds if he had Kuss? He would have finished with same time as Tadej or just lost seconds. Tadej is world class but, as we saw in stage 11, he can't win the tour on his own. UAE were brilliant today, Yates was brilliant today, just like Visma were brilliant the last 2 tours.

Well played by Pogi & team, the last part of the climb was more his terrain than Vingegaard. Will be exciting to see if Vinge bounces back tomorrow, or if it's going to be decided on stage 19 & 20. I still think Vingegaard will be stronger in the final stages, but the lead is pretty big now.

Its amazing that Jonas after the horrible crash and less than ideal preparation is only 1 minute and 40 seconds off pog, who has thrown the kitchen sink at him everyday for two weeks! It would be foolish to write off this tour as pog’s . I still think jonas can win it . He just has to bide his time and limit losses which he doing like a champ!

Today's tactic of Tadej Pogacar only shows that on stage 11 he was pissed because Jonas Vingegaard could reach him and beat him on the sprint in the finish line, everybody could see that Pogacar was burning inside with the results of his attack,the error was his own, attack when the finish line is 32 km away is always a risk, and if he really forgot about eating, and due to that he lost some power!

Why should he save energy when he can take more time from Jonas? It's clear that Jonas isn't strong enough to attack, or he would have. He can't even hold Tadej's wheel, and he clearly burned more matches today to limit his losses.
