Eurovision is a family program so to see ''that'' left many to have a bad taste in their mouth same with spain and others.

People are often shocked the most by the most 'open' performances, rarely for such great reasons (e.g. Nemo) but for UK it makes sense. It's not a matter of being homophobic, it was straight up offensive... to everyone including the gay community.

Polish performance is disliked by Poles because we are mad Luna went to ESC instead of Justyna (and cuz many are suspecting influence of her rich parents on national jury's decision to send Luna). These reactions have only grown bigger after the results which show that out entry failed to qualify.

People are annoyed they won, that’s why they’re getting so many dislikes. I also wouldn’t be surprised if a small portion also came from people who aren’t fond of Non-binary individuals too, but it’s mainly just people who were angry their favourite didn’t win. This usually happens every Eurovision tbh, especially in recent years, when you put a bunch of countries against each other the competition becomes this incredibly personal war, where people will get offended if they hear any slight criticism about their country’s song or about one of their favourites. I personally call it Post Eurovision aggression, similar to the Post Eurovision depression that people experience after this year’s competition ends, except instead of sadness it’s anger. Major sporting events are the exact same, it’s just the unfortunate reality of society today.

You know, there were always bunch of crybabies after ESC is finished (Like, Real winner Eleni, Real winner KEiiNO, Real winner Chanel, Real winner Kaarija etc.)

It may also be with the fact that Nemo's performance was shown and discussed in a lot of mass media with strong -phobic comments. And since many people still believe what they say on TV, they rushed to dislike and even write their angry comments how "Europe is rotting inside". My mum's home country doesn't participate in Eurovision, however sometimes they spoke about it neutraly. Today they straight up furious about it. Even my Grandma is now sure that "it is a freak show" 😅

The Poles hate Luna. Old generation in Greece does not like Marina Satti's song because it desecrates Greek culture and is vulgar. Some Azerbaijani nationalists believe that this song is a disgrace for the country since Armenia is higher. The UK is not liked by people who take Eurovision as a "family show" and it was too vulgar, usually people who have children do not like it, same with Spain
