I'm from Latvia and I don't care where we place in the final. I'm so overjoyed that we qualified. Honestly I also gasped because I've forgotten how it is to qualify. Thank you Europe❤ Sad for Belgium but in tv it was a bit shaky and too bright. Still love the song ❤

this is a song with good vocals and deep lyrics. An honest song and performance and it seems people like something raw and honest for a change. Eurovision is a spectacle though. If all songs were like this, I wouldn't like it either.

The same here. I thought the song was moving and authentic. This is not the first time that Belgium gets underrated. And, I am not Belgian, but love their entries a lot. Is something wrong with me 😅?

Yep. But Belgium songs the last years werent as good, as used to be. So I guess its a kind of fair of no classify. Last year was terrible, and had lot of point in the semifinal and final.. So more sustance and less campo messi choreography for next year

I don't even remember Malta.. I think you have to keep in mind that there are so many watching the songs for the first time, and I'm sorry but there has to be more than a good voice. And then you have Estonia and there's just something about that song that's catchy, and made me like it.

We must put an end to all those 1 singer+ 4 dancers acts. So fed up with them, cause we have seen them 1000 times before. So, Malta, bring up smth more original next year. No surprise that the public went for a good singer like Dons. He was unique in this field and a very good singer. Malta was cliche.🎉

I know that support for Latvia was about as hard to come by as finding Dratini merch at a Pokemon Centre store, but Hollow is my favourite song at the contest this year, so I am thrilled to have Dons in the GF. (I'm literally late to the party because Eurovision airs live at 5am in Australia and my body decided it needed the sleep.) I think Norway vs Ireland FTW, unless something goes monumentally sideways (right/wrong), either for them or for someone else.

Latvia's performance was close to perfection, I almost cried. I think absolutely everything worked out for him last night (looks, vocals, emotions, song), everything. I also think that it had a greater impact on those who saw and listened to this song for the first time.

Nemo's performance is just amazing!!!! Co-writing the song, the meaning of the song, the vocals always on point, hitch-hiking to Malmö, this risky staging..... That's why for me Nemo is the winner, even when someone else will win the trophy.

I know. They are too invested into all these songs and almost have collective view on them which doesn’t necessarily reflect the views of people who watch all these songs for the very first time. Me and my Aussie friend were watching all songs for the very first time and majority who got praised here we didn’t even remember. But we both agreed Latvia stood out…

They have the tendency to cheer for the ones who climb in the odds completely dismissing the other good acts. Like notice how they ditched Switzerland like it doesn’t exist anymore even though it’s still the biggest contender. Their favourites flop from year to year cause they are superficial in their preferences. I feel why Deban always disses the fakeness of the team at the point haha

My top five are Switzerland, Croatia, Armenia, Norway, and France! I'm sad that Belgium didn't qualify. I loved the song, but the stage needed more to grab the viewer's attention. I'm sorry for Czechia as well; I loved her performance. Overall this was a great semi-final 2...can't wait for Saturday Final...Special shout out to Iolanda; Crystal clear voice with an esthetically pleasing powerful performance!

Why did Malta choose the dance break section for the voting recap, it’s a song contest not a dance contest, especially as the first entry voters that missed it, didn’t have any musical reference in the recap for Malta.

People nowadays don’t pay attention in the art. They’re more attached booties and personal music preferences. I don’t listen to rock/metal, but I have to say that Ireland was the biggest surprise this year, and after couple of time rewatching the performance, I can definitely say they were the Best overall and deserve to win.

Can I just say congratulations to the organisation of this Eurovision edition. A marvelous, fast paste show with super enjoyable interval acts. Malta fell victim to the overload of girly bobs but she got enough exposure to start making it in Europe without Eurovision. As random fan who mostly looks on with my phone in hand I sat and just watched the whole show without being distracted by anything.

Let's talk about Israel. They qualified 5th, which indicates a very strong result. They bumped at the betting from 8th to 2nd. I bet that they won this semi final. I will be surprised if this is actually happened, but all indications point at that direction.

@@MultiSky7 - RAI published the results of Semi Final 2 votes, go look at them. Israel took 40% of the vote, after that it was Netherlands on 7%, then Georgia, Switzerland and Armenia on 6%, then the rest divided up among the rest.

Israel will win in a televote landslide, looking at RAI's Italian televote results. They are 5 *times* ahead of the closest contender, which has never happened before, not even in 2022 with Ukraine. You should talking about that. I am sorry, but this is practically the end of Eurovision as a "uniting" song contest considering the context this is happening, and the amount of countries which will boycott next year. The future of the contest is at stake right now. (even if that is not at all the highest priority about this situatuon)

That is sooo true! I think many of us including those who's countries are currently at the very top of the odds already started unliking many ESC related social media pages. The atmosphere at the finals in and around the Arena on Saturday night finals considering the political situation/EBU stance might be literally on fire. And I don't mean it in a good way! The EBU might be the greatest loser ever from the next year onwards in the amount of number of fans dropping. The question is do they really dare to sentence the show to death?! Ofc they could also rely to some extent on politically immoral hypocrite voters/fans.

I did NOT expect Estonia at all!!! But in a way they deserved it, they were delivering something original (over Malta). And I did expect Latvia!!! Definitely Ireland is the dark horse and probable winner, if running order doesn’t ruin their chances. Croatia is also the other entry I’m rooting for. We Spaniards foresee a great rank for our entry. Greetings from Spain.

I guess, lot of People did not vote for everybodies favourites, but for their second or third choices. People were hoping others are going to vote public favourites in. So surprises happens. But Dons is good. His song is just One of few, which have struck in my head

Joost Klein is my personal favourite but I think the winner will be Croatia, Switzerland or Greece and all 3 would be absolutely deserved. Would like to have included Ukraine but they are undeservely toasted with the worst spot. Good luck to all❤
