Even 10 years later this entry is still so elegant and classy and it's pure art Niamh should've been top 10 easily hopefully she'll help write or even perform at Eurovision again for Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪

Best Eurovision entry for 2010 by far and probably my favourite Irish entry ever (though Hold Me Now and Why Me come close). Niamh needs to come to Eurovision and have another crack at winning for Ireland. She's a superstar or Eurovision and one of the finest voices to ever grace the Eurovision stage.

A beautiful song. We were in the audience in Oslo and she got a great reception. She deserved to do better than she did. It remains a classic Irish eurovision song.

I used to love her and Ireland so much when i was 12! It's amazing how this irish woman made me feel! It was like i knew her for ages! It was like she was a very close person of me! She inspired me, I'm a scenary writter and at a tv-series i wrote, i created a caracter who was literally her! She brought me so much memories! She's such a good soul! The way she looks at us the way she smiles! She touched so much my teenage soul! Thank's Niamh for what you gave me!

Usually Eurovision ballades have glass-like performers with 0 emotions and generic lyrics (like the girl that sang for Iceland in 2009) but she definitely has the talent of delivering the message right across with her voice, words and eyes and every word was pronounced so clearly.

Beautiful song, great singer, wrong dress! If she hadn't have been ill before the contest and she could have given it her absolute best (as she did in 93'), she could have knocked it out of the park but a sterling effort all the same. It's a beautiful song!!

That’s the problem with Ireland... They are stuck in the 90’s in Eurovision. If they continue like that, they will never win again. Let’s hope for better song in 2020 and a big win for Ireland again!!!

@@NotMe-el3hg , That's a silly thing to say... Ireland has the most number of wins in the contest without having neighbors... Even Israel doesn't have neighbors and they managed to win 4 times. It's depends on the song and a bit of luck, I guess... 🤷‍♂

This is credible, it is emotional and spreads truth all over. Ireland needs to reinvent in order to deliver something real to Eurovision nowadays. This was not even close to the victory but it made it to the final at least, so that is a beginning. I still think Lesley Roy's Story Of My Life was good but she needs to move right away towards another meaningful style or concept.

The problem is that Ireland failed to keep up with changing music tastes and the younger audiences that flocked to Eurovision in a post-internet era. The songs they sent from 2000 - 2010 belonged in the 80s/90s...and the songs they've send from 2011-now belonged in the 2000s. They're just a decade behind unfortunately. Eurovision has moved on... Ireland has not.
