If you only could understand well the Italian lyrics you'd really get how poetic the lyrics are. Because they never send songs that fit Eurovision's audience. Eurovision is all about mainstream music and songs that everyone sings for 1 month and then forget for the rest of their lives because that's the taste of most people nowadays.

@@dkaf1000 i keep up with it. The performances, the intros, the interviews and before and after it. Obviously not in real time and not in one run because of the time zones, the fact that the entire thing happens before I get my hands on an footage and like it's not the same thrill since i cannot vote and my country is not out there competing but I still keep up, cause it's a very cool idea- and I get to listen to so many different songs and find out so many diff artists. Also had it not been for a lot of the performances, I wouldn't even be politically aware about some of the countries including Italy.
