Eurythmy Spring Valley, School of Eurythmy. The graduating (fourth year) class of 2011 performs a Verse, taken from the Sanskrit by Rudolf Steiner . This speech eurythmy piece was performed at dress rehearsal - June 3, 2011, Threefold Auditorium, Chestnut Ridge, NY. Videography by Natt McFee.

Of all the things Steiner gave us, I must say that Eurythmy is the most bizarre...and certainly the most dreadfully painful thing to sit through. Even a Bodhisattva can make a few mistakes, right?

lol. I think it is meant to be participated in mostly. On a subtle energy level it moves energy upward which is well... the idea of chigong and yoga as well.

Yes, I am a great admirer of Steiner and his work, but this eurithmy I absolutely do not like. His mystery drama's also not.

@@Ridzerd I agree. But, of course, hard-core Anthroposophists will claim that we are simply too dim-witted and uninitiated to fully comprehend Eurythmy. So, as one uninitiated dim-wit to another, I thank you for your comment.

I saw Eurythmy performed in the streets by my daughter's school when she was a kid, it was quite beautiful and fun. Putting Sanskrit together with it takes it to an advanced level.

the photographer is mostly late. And then he only takes the positions not the movement. Teach the photographer about eurythmy please, especially if he is going to take pictures at the same time as the piece is being filmed...
