AP shyv has always been pretty fking good, the only issue is basically only 1 ability does any damage and if you get cc'd you're dead. Its usually a skill issue so good thing good guy Agurin picked it up because hes actually good.

kinda this ya, but her q now does some good dmg even on ap, thats why alot of shyv players are bringing lich bane into her build, r e q and someone is guaranteed dead unless there a mega tank, plus u become a objective god with lichbane and nashors, ur eq smite combo is well over 2200 dmg once u have 3 or 4 items, only reason it doesnt see more play is bc most ppl just r in and die, instead of saving the r for guaranteed kills or objectives

Intro was wrong Agurin didnt start to play it cause he thougt its broken he just wanted to test if she is playable and thats his way to find out if a champ is still good or not. Back in the day like 2 years ago he played her a lot but she was weak for a while now

he only started playing her bc he wanted to take one of the worst junglers and see how far he can get, thats why he has an only shyv acc, but alittle after he started she got some qol buffs that turned out to be really good to help her early game dueling if u go pta, now shes pretty decent in high elo bc u can actually kinda contest stuff pre6, shes still not that great, plat-master shes like 47-48 wr, if she was played more in gm and chall she would prob be around the same, she still has some insane flaws, she cant play if behind at all, u just become useless if ur early game is fucked

Btw you've said that shyv is probably not good in pro play but good in soloQ. Just wanna say that Agurin's opinion on this is the opposite. Shyvana needs controlled enviroment bcs of her fury (ult). In soloQ there' a lot of random fights that are horrible for her. In pro play there are fights with purpose so Shyvana won't struggle with not having ult that often. Nice video Drew

On his side, there’s an AP Naut that missed every hook and died instantly every team fight. Definitely balanced out the Viego. One inter on each team.

I understand Agurin's frustration when his team doesn't focus on objectives. It's because his macro is immaculate and he knows which objectives are important for the win conditions. It sfrustrating when your team doesn't understand or is too afraid/not confident/ignorant, etc.

It wasn't a lapse of judgement or even an expression of his judgement, it was purely a "im fucking over this get me out" moment. We've all had them, especially if you play the god forsaken role of jungle.

20:07 I’ve tried soloQ perfect laner coverage as an e4 jg , and laner will int, which neutralizes their lane lead with bounty system and you’re now stuck with low xp and gold because you dropped cs to cover. Agurin is challenger and the laners are still mentally rotten

At level 17 most champs in the game will have over 100 armor, shyvannas passive helps her be at 130 but tahts not a huge difference to where most champs would be

I've been one-tricking Shyvanna all season long. But did it in midlane. And obviously I'm not a challenger player, but until high gold low platin I did not encounter many issues at all. The main issue is that I've played her as a split-pusher and most teams don't know how to play with a split pusher in this elo.

@@moogiwatta there's no denying that. I believe that I could probably play this up to lower diamond levels (as mid diamond is where I've peaked) but I've become too casual to push. All I've wanted to say is that Shyvanna is an awesome champ and has a lot of potential when played right. That level 6 power-spike is no joke. And I'm already hating the shyvanna rework even though details haven't been announced yet.

Mate lol, shyvana has been primary jujngle for 8 years haha. Shyvana top is more of a niche place; though due to her reliance on levels and how hard she scales with items, I do believe thats her best spot. Her AP variant jungle is also her *lowest* winning spot haha
