EV Can Do It Series - Travelling West to East Nepal on an EV. In this series, we will be travelling from Kathmandu to Far West Nepal up to Mahendranagar Nepal-India Border and travel to East Nepal up to Kakarvitta Nepal-India Border and exploring the natural beauty of Nepal on our BYD Atto Electric Vehicle (EV). This is the Superior Variant which has a 60.48 kWh battery capacity having a claimed range of WLTP 420 km.
We hope this series of videos of our travel will help the adoption of EVs, encourage to travel long distance, raise awareness of EVs and their charging infrastructure, showcase the various benefits and features of EV and how easy is it to drive and enjoy travelling. This series will also include the limitations and feedback for the growth of EVs and the infrastructure.

Doing something like this on your own accord, fueled by nothing else but your own enthusiasm and passion is quite something! And I think MRS. Bikram also deserves credit for supporting and being with you in this incredible endeavor :) So hats off to her as well. Thank you again for this meticulous documentation. This is going down in history as the early days of EV in Nepal where one great man dared to do this mission and accomplished it with grace.

NEA is absolutely the worst. The chargers located on the NEA office itself on Kharipati Bhaktapur is faulted and shows as available on the App. I myself have complained 3 times and tbf they have picked up each time but all in vain.

That's the problem with NEA, their support system must be good 👍 They already have so many chargers all over Nepal with fast speed. Still, it is so hard to rely just on it. Hope it gets better with time.

Few days back I was in Itahari NEA charging station .. it was about 10pm..I started charging and in every 5% it stopped charging..and on 3rd try they charged me Rs 13750..no one to call..so I had to recharge my wallet to rs13750++ to start charging again..worst experience ever..

That's a very bad experience. Did you get that money back? Hope they repaired the Itahari Charging Station.
