I think the ev woofer Need to tighten ,🤦🏾‍♂️ My stupid neighbours crying out .

The input signal looked a bit hot on the EV, looked like it was reading +14 DB. I have the 15sp ETX and use a mini mixer to keep the input at no more than +3-6db for the cleanest sound.

True ,because it was my wife doing it on the mixer , and she doesn’t know anything about it.

Everybody has different opinion I think ev sounds better bass wise if u adjust them levels right u can feel that bass

i keep my ETX 18SP at 120hz , these subs you had placed on 80hz , one of the reasons why it’s clipping so early and it will sound distorted and not enough of missing frequencies between 80-120hz , all depends on the music though , keep them on Live mode and a good EQ on the mixer , it starts from the source , proper gain stage , good EQ of the channel and proper setting , i love my ETX bc QSC , like the KS118 , has a smaller cabinet which doesn’t allow it to have better acoustics such as the ETX

I keep it on 100hz sometimes too ,😬and live mode Isn’t my style .

@@djgazaaka5000 i’m always keeping mine between 120-100, never lower at 80hz or never at 150hz , 120 for live performance music events with drums& bass …. and 100hz for just music , no musicians

Can someone give a say anything about the room eq setting I’m not too sure how it works so I moved it to 80 or 100 and it never clips and it sounds really good

I have ETX 15SP and when I'm pushing them the limit light flashes, my mixer is in the red but that's the loudness I need, what's a better option that can handle it or it's fine with the light flashing!

Yes it’s the Qsc kw , I was trying so hard to get the ks118 so bad , but one day I will.

Yes you can feel it, for the distance It depends on the room , and how much subs you using.

I have two of the EV ETX 18sp's. For the money that I spent on them, and the reviews I have read...I'm very disappointed. They sound amazing a very low volume. But as soon as you even try to push them, they clip out and go into protect mode. Very Stressful. I am using a Pioneer S11 mixer.

@@djsouth4621 Hey! Select live mode! It will prevent clipping at some extent, keep levels within green! Also, provide it with clean power! ±1% fluctuation! A maximum of ±3 volts is acceptable! 230±1%volts at 50hz or 110v±1% at 60hz.. from wherever you maybe!

@@djsouth4621 well, sound always perform better when you give it clean power! Just see if there's any, IGBT pvm based static voltage stabilizer manufacturer in your nation.
