Thank you, this was before inset up a studio for 'proper' videos, was just a bunch of mobile phone footage... But thanks!! And you definitely should do a foam build!

This is just superb, been searching for "real iron man suit that flies" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Xenacob Heyndrew Guide - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my m8 got excellent results with it.

Great work sir! Looks amazing... as I said before, it doesn't even look like foam. So smooth and shiny. :) That make shift lazy Susan made me laugh! But it works so that's all that matters.

looks awesome! I was just wondering, how did you print out the templates so that they would fit you? When I try to print them, they get cut off because they're too big to fit on one piece of paper.

Hey! Thank you, I used the poster setting when printing the PDF that way it prints on multiple A4 sheets and you just stick them together and cut out the patters, I also increased the print size by 5% :)

yup - straight to the paper based printer - use poster settings on the PDF :)

Thank you, I found them on ebay- search hero cosplay eyes, they are basically plastic pieces heat formed into the curve required for the eye socket, then etched to capture the light from the supplied LEDS.. :)

Ok chill! Check out Etsy and look for MK4 foam download plans. Xing Prod makes a good set, mine in the video is heavily modified so won't be exactly what you see here...

Awesome work! So I can see you used some of xieng prod’s templates right? Did you use his helmet one too? Would you be able to tell me what templates you used for the repulsors? And how did you make the arc reactor and eyes, exactly? Thanks!

Hey yes his templates are excellent however I have modified all of the parts and created some new using 3Dmax. The eyes are essentially etched perspex I then heated and curved to fit the inside of the helmet. I have a build log going on Facebook and Instagram search JCulley3D

Oh and the hand repulsor templates, you can see in the video I wrapped my hand in duck tape first and then cut it into the perfect fit template before transfering to foam.
