Sensationalism! I have lived within 2 miles of Topanga Canyon since 1960! The roads have washed out and flooded dozens of times since then! It's the Santa Monica Mountains, what do you expect!!! Bottom line is that they don't want people living in the beautiful rural and coastal areas. They're going to make these areas," Very High Hazard Zones"! People won't be able to get insurance and they'll have to move out! It a landgrab!
