Evacuation warnings lifted after high surf and flooding shut down Santa Cruz, coastal areas

Around Santa Cruz, seaside streets were littered with debris, soaked with flooding, and battered by big waves. The city closed the Santa Cruz Wharf, Main Beach and Cowell Beach because of the massive waves and resulting damage.

All Beaches are closed all weekend Waves are as high as 5 - 50 ft in some of the beaches That is 1 angry ocean. Once again it's happening 1 year ago happened at this time

Russian military surveillance satellites that are used also by our own scientists has detected signs of pre-rogue waves variables at least 40 to 49 miles away from the coasts and they also have created at least 7 rogue waves at least 37 meters high above sea level in some distance before unpredictably dissipating. Take necessary precautions.

I used to live in Santa Cruz in the 90's and earlier 2000s, and I've seen these winter storms and loved it! I miss the sea. I just don't miss all the wackadoodle liberal politics. Fuck that place.

I was born in Santa Cruz and lived there from 1975 to 2000 and yes I miss the heck out of that place the ocean 🌊 the convenience and the red wood's what I don't miss is the ultra leftist politics and cost of living, I'm glad I raised my family were I did.
