It seems as though the New Jersey Devils are close to naming their next head coach. They have some solid options in Craig Berube, Jay Woodcroft, and possibly Mike Sullivan. Sheldon Keefe would be perfect for New Jersey experience coaching up and coming players, always makes the playoffs. Doesn’t have to deal with the onslaught of the toronto media everyday.

if the devils dont land berube i honestly think pandolfo isnt a bad option and could potentially be available, celebrini raved about pando and pando is the reason that he decided to go to BU, and every one of the hall of famers on the devils that played with him always talked so highly about his leadership in the locker room, and pandolfo was always a student of the game, but i dont like woodcroft and sullivan...well, its all rumor and speculation and his extension is about to kick in and he hasnt been canned yet, so chances of him are slim to none, but i think pandolfo is a sleeper coaching choice IF berube ends up going to toronto

They have star power but the team is soft and has zero physicality. The defense is also putrid. We don't need an analytics geek as head coach, we need someone who can instill discipline and set up a sound defensive structure.
