After reading the chapter in our textbook and making very good notes (10 pages), I still struggled to put it all together but this video really helped by adding another layer to the learning process for this complicated and sometimes confusing area of coding. Thank you Sass Mama!

I like that you didn’t talk fast or speed through the info. It allows the info to be easily sunk in and grasped. Your break down was on point. Your videos is just what I needed. Awesome job! 🙂

This is based on the 1995 and 1997 guidelines. I plan to make a video on the new 2021 guidelines soon.

The video covers basic E/M content that can be applied to both 95 and 97 guidelines.

Patient status is "new" or "established" patient?

@@SassMamaCodingAcademy Thanks! I'll be watching a lot more of your videos, as I have a LONG ways to go, to polish up before trying the Chapter 19 test for E/M. It wouldn't be a stretch to call me "stupit" and "chicken with his head cut off." I did surprisingly well with the Pathology and Lab chapter, so maybe there is some hope for me.
