100% understand what you said about feeling insecure in your own hometown. i think I grew up feeling very insecure and bullied for my appearance and style in my hometown and once I moved that feeling went away because when you move places its like you're erasing what everyone ever said or thought about you and starting over, so you can reinvent yourself with more confidence, without fearing someone might look at you weird and say something bad. i also struggle with dressing how I like when I'm in my hometown visiting my life, I feel a lot of pressure to go unnoticed.

I’m always so sad when I go into Vinted and see all the girls getting rid of Shein things or things that have been a micro-trend lately, I really think that we should think about what we want to buy and ponder if it’s for the long run or not. It is okay to buy trendy things if you really like it, I usually wait for the trend to pass when something caught my eye and ask myself if I still like after it’s “out of trend” again

you're one of my biggest style inspiration! i really agree with what you said on thrifting, i stopped buying fast fashion for ethical reasons and i found myself having much more fun with clothes, they're so unique and it feels good to not depend on the uncountable micro trends as well! i love the way you cherry pick clothes , they're always so dainty and fun and also the way you style them looks so good

I really think to help with your style is to have many staple pieces which you can then have a bit of fun around that. If you have stapled jeans and a top you can style that with a cool jacket and accessories. I always have fun with that and it helps me to not have a too difficult time on figuring out what to wear.💗

with pintrest i agree 100%! it's hard to get inspired fr. i think i'm more focused on the vibe of the photo and or how they're posing or the location and things like that! i'm probably gonna get rid of it bc i spend way too much time on it and in the end i'm overwhelmed by of all of the pictures! it's just an overstimulating situation
