Жыл бұрынEvan Mawarire spoke at the SFS Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Mawarire is a former political prisoner and founder of the “This Flag” citizen’s movement in Zimbabwe. Mawarire encountered countless challenges in his fight for democracy, including time spent in the Chikurubi maximum security prison. Mawarire offered the graduates words of hope and perseverance for this new phase of their lives.
