business is business, doesnt matter how street or rebel our sport is marketed, reality is the other guy is in a big market and is more brandable ... there is no reasonable comparison in talent between the two.. this guy is just unstopable .. i think he knows this and that he is the real SOTY

Skankwave yeah, milton is fucked in the head (and it's so amazing) but i don't agree about zion going harder. not in the least. evan skates up and down some of the steepest shit and is the wallride king. he also does not bail elegantly. dude takes some HARD slams.

For real though...and it seems like it's getting harder and harder every year lately. I've been skating for almost 22 years now and it wasn't until the past few years where pros all started really gunning for that SOTY. In years past, everyone just skated and whoever won, won. It was like whatever but nowadays it seems that SOTY has become like winning an Oscar Award in the skate world-everyone wants it now. And you can tell the difference if you've been skating long enough. You can tell more and more pros are going out their way to stand out and get it. Especailly during the last half of every year. They start throwing out a shit ton of banger footy after summer months, or from the summer until the end of the year.

Yeah, these days the progression is quicker. In the 80s you had to know someoene who knew the tricks. The pros get good very quickly in the modern era, and they have great skaters around them. It will get more and more difficult to pick SOTY in the coming years 👍
